You love Jeniffer Harman? Why? Because of her exceptional No Limit skills. Because like every other so called pro, she lost her games to Andy Beal and had to be bailed out by Ivey? Because she is consistently such a weak player at the table on HSP it's hilarious. I'll give her credit for playing the High stakes games live, and being the original woman player that had some success, but people exaggerate so much about her skill level it's hilarious. Your post isn't exactly a thorough analysis and certainly ignores the fact that she (despite her frailties and being disowned by her father for playing poker) had the chutzpah to grind away at the tables when few other women were doing so. keith crime 8 Posted September 22, 2012 Share Posted September 22, 2012 She's always been a limit player - is still the only woman playing the big game where ever it is now - she's not a tourney player or a no limit player and has never really claimed to be When Andy Beal had their backs to the wall and she was in the hospital for her kidney's she still wanted to push her roll to take him on Plus she married a hairdresser and he was soon cashing in WSOP tourney's like he was born into it when he had never played a bit - she must have something to teach Plus in 2007 I went up to her and said "I believed that you had it in Lucky You when you bluffed" and she said "Like I would ever play that hand" and was very nice - we've all been sold these pros and i hope it comes out that some were decent people - Gus Hanson and Juanda sound ok - I hope she remains untainted - i don't what will happen but I still hope Link to post Share on other sites

Though, I guess it also reminds me of the Iran/Contra scandal when Reagan just couldn't remember anything. Hmmph. I'm reserving judgement for now. Unless Howard has early onset Alzheimers theres a huge difference between Lederer and Reagan (whom everybody now admits was 1/2 senile during his 2nd term in office due to Alzheimers setting in) Link to post Share on other sites

The impression I get was that no one really invested a big amount in the company in the first place so as long as the dividends kept rolling in no one had any interest in how the company is run. Even when things went to hell they couldn't even scrape together a board to take over, doesn't strike me as a bunch that had much interest in what happened to their company or players money. Ive said the same thing on another site.. In reality Howard and the upper management all treated FTP as one big F'ing ATM Machine for themselves. Whats sad is Howard actually tries to throw even Chris under the bus claiming it was Chris' idea to hire Bitar and that because of that Chris is the sole party to blame for Bitars criminal incompetance because he didnt know anything and claims to have been disconnected from operations sometime after they moved things from California overseas. Everything that he said was simply taken as gospel without any indication that what he was saying wasn't simply hearsay or his own assumptions. No specific examples were given, no quotes from Howard Lederer were cited as evidence and there was nothing to indicate that any of the things that he was saying were things that he knew first hand or had seen in writing. The very few times he was asked to be specific he simply fumbled for a few seconds and said that he didn't know. For example, when he claimed that large affiliates got special deals and could do things that other affiliates couldn't do and that they got extra leeway, not only wasn't he asked specifically what special treatment he was talking about, but when he was asked to name one of these affiliates he responded, "I don't recall". He can remember that they were large affiliates but he couldn't recall who any of them were? He makes an accusation but can't remember even the most basic of details? And that was allowed to let slide? The show started with the interviewer stating how exasperated he was with the PokerNews interviewer not asking followup questions in the Lederer interviews and then proceeded to do the same thing in his interview; even more so considering he failed to get specific at all. I felt throughout the entire interview like I was just listening to gossip. I think that the only way we are going to understand what happened at FullTilt is to listen to what folks on both sides say over the coming weeks and then triangulate in on the reality. Ray Bitar. Matusow says all of FTP are crooks, and that he talked to Howard a very short time ago and Howard said he planned on re-joining the live poker world within a couple of weeks. Must have thought he did a good job of claiming innocence...
