FCP Bob 1,321
I'm happy to see that Poker Stars is trying to promote Limit Holdem by holding some Limit Holdem Challenges like the Isildur ones for No Limit. On Saturday Daniel is playing the first one.http://www.pokerstarsblog.com/2012/negrean...rst-093914.htmlThis weekend, May 5 at 2pm ET, worldwide poker superstar and Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu will face off against limit legend rUaBot in a high-stakes limit heads-up battle. Negreanu and rUaBot will play 1,250 hands across two tables of $200/$400 heads-up limit hold'em. Both players will start with $75,000 bankrolls.
KingJames 11
Bob, HU LHE goes to showdown a lot, right? If so it should be exciting.I know DN is a good LHE player and has some pretty good HU experience but I suspect he's a pretty big dog playing some online specialist. Anything can happen in 1250 hands tho.

Jam-Fly 8
"may sound a little harsh to some of you, but I don't want to sugarcoat it. The kid is in over his head and will burn through the whole wad. It's only a matter of time."
DanielNegreanu 141
I'm not going into this with any unrealistic expectations. If I lose less than $20,000 that will feel like a win!
FCP Bob 1,321
Should be starting in about 5 minutes.
Jam-Fly 8
since LHE is so mathematical and close to solved, playing a total specialist has to be close to the -EVness of playing something like roulette. there's basically no way any extra creativity or 'experience' can help someone who hasn't put in the hours against someone who has studied the game and literally knows it inside and out
FCP Bob 1,321
they played 937 hands and Daniel lost his buyin of $75K.
KenMarius 0
Sorry Daniel, but that is not your game. And when I saw you telling him "I will never play this game again", not exact words you used, but somewhere in that place, I had to chuckle a little bit, but yea. Good game to watch. Cruz 2
I play mostly limit, and I can tell you from experience that short handed limit is a vicious and bloody game that just by watching can lead to dementia.By the way, is there anywhere that we can see a replay of the game?
