Average player by definition would be 9-1. Above average player probably not any better than 4.5-1.

and also, on the two aces vs 4 random card thing, I'm pretty sure two aces against three random cards is a dog if playing hold em rules (ie you can use any combination of cards from hold card and board). If omaha rules (must use two hold cards), it's obviously different

I remember reading or hearing you say nobody reads Sammy as well as you, but if that is so then why not just raise? If you know he is weak why not just raise? Not meant to be a flame.Just out of curiosity, if you had zero income outside of actually playing poker, would your lifestyle be much different.This would include having to have noone back your turney buyins or travel expenses.

Big time. I woudln't play many tourneys at all and probably play big mixed cash games... in a lot of ways it would be a much healthier lifestyle than I currently lead.

As the king of fantasy betting can you get stars to run some sort of fantasy WSOP league thing? FTP used to have one but I'm sure it can be improved on. I need something I can enter in the summer, beat my friends at and then berate them.

When was the last time you made a deal near the end of a big tourney? And do you ever sell any of your action, or simply bankroll yourself for every big event? Thanks!

In 1997 heads up with TJ Cloutier I did a $5000 save and won the tournament. That was the last deal I ever made. I sold pieces of myself in the $250k buyin event and plan to sell pieces to get into the One Drop at WSOP.

I met Allen at Commerce playing $80-$160 limit hold'em. We were both thinking the same thing, "What is this young guy doing playing such high stakes?" haha. Ivey I later met at the Taj Mahal, he kept staring at me all crazy during a tournament and I was thinking, "Who the hell is this guy?" Allen knew him first, and then we got introduced and started hanging. Allen told me he was a good player... and yeah, he was right.

LOL, I am certainly not shy :-) I don't know exactly, but a ballpark guess would have me over 30 and under 60. Doesn't seem that bad considering I was only married for 2.5 years and "single" for most of that time.

Being results oriented it would be a "shit load" but realistically I'd consider my equity to match that of the top 10% of the field.
