MapleLeafpoker 1,462
Too lazy to find the post now, but I recall Biatch making a bunch of futures NHL bets on the Cup, and I noticed how high the Anaheim return was. (300-1? I think)Anyway, been looking to bet that for a week, but suddenly, you cant bet on 1/3 of the teams, ie the Canes/Oilers/Ducks/Jackets....no line for these bottom feeders. I really want a pc of Anaheim, if you ask me, thats a team worth a gamble.

I think they could definitely upset someone in the first round if they make it but I don't see them going on any run whatsoever.

If they could get lucky with some youngsters playing over their head, I think everything else is fine.

ajs510 122
I can't see Anaheim even getting in, they'd have to come up with at least 54 points in their remaining 37 games just to squeak in. That's like a 23-6-8 record down the stretch.

That's like a 23-6-8 record down the stretch.I dont know, winning 23 out of 37games doesnt seem that undoable. Losing only 6 in reg might be hard I suppose. Its almost mathematically not possible...With 5 teams to beatI disagree with your math. They have 3/4 gams in hand on 4 of those 5 teams. Tha gap is 11-13pts. The only other team is Dallas, currently hurting. If they go on a good run, I cant see why they cant catch these teams. Very difficult, but not that impossible-ish to me. I could even see them being 4-6pts out of the playoffs by mid-Feb, with still nearly 15-20games to go.

SBriand 4
I find that weird since the current best team standings wise has less of a chance to make the playoffs than with other teams. I am sure there is a lot more to it than standings but I just found it interesting.

Ottawa_Biatch 288
Thanks for the birthday wishes. Pretty fun day working the lululemon sale. It was crazy busy. There were approx 10 000 people at the sale over the course of the day. People waited in line 7 hours to get in, it was crazy. It was lots of fun though. They didn't feed us the food we were promised though, they just gave us flavour crystals to put in our water, and offered a free yoga class during lunch, instead of food. It was good times though. CTV interviewed a few of us, and the flash mob part was on the news as well this evening. I broke up with crazy religious girl yesterday. She still texts me like we're dating, but I don't answer them anymore. Didn't do too much for my birthday, I just went out for sushi with a bunch of new people I met from lululemon, kinda random and not planned, it was fun times. I haven't had sushi in forever, it was so good to get some miso soup & edamame, plus the red bean ice cream is amazing. And I love my salmon sushimi. Plus my new friends picked up the bill, something they didn't have to do, but they did which was awesome possum. I work Saturday and Sunday most of the day though. Will go to bed soon and dream about lululemon & keurig in the morning. P.S. DannYg, on my betting card tonight, I also have the Raps +7.0, comeback city right now.
