Nope. Not a chance. I remember as a kid going up to the highest observation deck and just clinging to the wall because the ability to look down freaked me out.

Wow, that's a lot. Like I said in the other thread, they have to be paying a fortune for insurance though.

I went to the CN Tower in 1995. Back then, they had a glass floor that you could walk out on. It was clear and convincing that there was nothing there. The first step I took, I could feel my brain totally panicking. It was very cool. I don't know that I would want to do this.

Is EdgeWalk safe?Safety is always a priority at the CN Tower, and was considered thoroughly in all aspects of the design and operation of EdgeWalk. As a tall building with communications functions, the CN Tower conducts regular measurements of its radiofrequency energy to ensure that we are performing within federal guidelines for the safety of all participants. EdgeWalk exceeds safety standards in all areas.
That somehow makes me feel less safe. The only thing that would have concerned me would be plummeting to my death, not getting irradiated to death. Tell me more about how it's impossible to fall, please. Or maybe just mention it even once? If I were writing that section it would look like this:
Is EdgeWalk safe?Yes, completely.
Seriously, the first word of their answer should have been "yes."

I know an iron worker who worked on installing the Edge attraction on the CN Tower. Those guys have no fear of heights and make very good money.

They can't say yes. Same reason when someone comes to my apartments and asks me if it is safe around here. I can't say "yes". I can give crime statistics to give them an idea of how safe it is but if I say Yes and then something happens, well, oops.

This is going to be a suicide destination for someone. Once the first person manages to loose themselves from the harness and fall to their death, the Edge will no longer be open for business.
