Perfect combination.I will miss you all when I am dead.Hi Arp.Also, seems it is fine now so i am going to break some news that has kept me sane the last week.About a month ago Liz and I got a letter from the Adoption Agency stating that Korea is in the process of lowering the amount of children they are releasing for international adoption by 10% every year until no more children are adopted out internationally. Because of this, the Korean Govt has already hit their quota for 2011 and this will push back our referral time by another 4-6 months (then add 4 months for paperwork and visa stuff). So we were expecting to travel before Xmas to get a child and now it says we need to wait till Spring 2012. Bah! It hit us hard. Found out right before I left for Vegas. Waiting was hard but to add more time really kills your spirit. Then last Tuesday I was grilling up some pork and the phone rang and we didn't get to it in time and we saw it was our social worker. Liz was freaked out thinking something bad was coming but I told her to call her. I can't go into much detail at this time but I have a son! His name will be Jin and he is pretty damn adorable. We met the next day to get pictures and his full history. Unfortunately we will not be able to go get him until January but he is ours. He will be 15 months when we get him and it's pretty darn cool. I wish I could show a pic but we can't at this time. I can probably text a few of you though. I guess that is it for now. He is healthy and one of the descriptions given by his foster parent was manly. Sweet!So if he was born Oct 2010 what is his draft year? Link to post Share on other sites

Very happy for both of you, and it must be amazing to put a face+name to what you have waited so long for. This just became one of my all time fave threads. Great news!!!When you told Danny you guys would be fathers around the same time in Feb, I thought it was strange cause I thought I remembered you saying youd be going in fall. Anyway, sorry to hear of the delay, but it sounds like things just got a lot better. So, congrats again, and pass along my best wishes to Liz too. Look fwd to hearing more good news soon. September 15th is the cutoff, you have to turn 18 by that date in your draft year. Oh, and CONGRATS! We had Nathan picked out for awhile if we got a boy and Olivia if it was a girl. But we saw him and both of us didn't think he looked like a Nathan. His real name is Suhjin (Sue-Gin) so we took the Suh off because kids are mean and left it Jin and are pretty happy about it. Link to post Share on other sites
