shipppppppp itTore Lukashaugen Eliminated in 5th Place ($141,125)Posted 2 minutes ago by Shamus • Level 26: 15,000-30,000, 5,000 anteTore Lukashaugen - 5th placeTore Lukashaugen - 5th placeThe folded around to Justin Filtz on the button. "Seventy," he said, pushing out a raise to 70,000. Matt Jarvis folded from the small blind, then Tore Lukashaugen announced he was reraising all in from the big blind. Lukashaugen set out two columns of chips, totaling about 530,000. Filtz quickly called, turning over {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}. Lukashaugen showed {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}.The flop came {2-Spades}{A-Spades}{3-Hearts}, pairing Filtz and leaving Lukashaugen searching for the case queen or other, similarly unlikely good fortune of the runner-runner variety. But the turn was the {10-Diamonds} and the river the {9-Clubs}, and Lukashaugen is out in fifth.Filtz now has about 3.3 million and is vying closely with Robert Merulla for the chip lead.

Filtz Wins a MonsterPosted 3 minutes ago by SantanaBandanaJustin Filtz wins monsterJustin Filtz wins monsterRobert Merulla opened to 70,000 on the button, and Justin Filtz three-bet to 190,000 from the small blind. Merulla called. The flop fell {6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, Filtz led for 225,000, and Merulla quickly called. The turn was the {j-Spades}, and Filtz led again - this time for 475,000. Merulla tanked for nearly a minute, before taking one green T25,000 chip off of a 500,000-chip stack, and sliding it forward. The river was the {k-Hearts}, and Filtz paused before announcing, "one million."Merulla leaned back from the table in disbelief. He put his hands together and rubbed them together, then turned to say something to Filtz. We didn't catch it, but we heard Filtz's response:"I'm not going to show."Nearly two minutes passed before Merulla said, "call," prompting Filtz to stand up and turn over {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for a set of kings. Merulla mucked his hand, and the near four million-chip pot was pushed over to Filtz.Chip Counts Justin Filtz 5,175,000 1,865,000 pos Robert Merulla 1,590,000 -1,660,000 neg :club:

Robert Merulla Eliminated in 4th Place ($208,281)Posted 4 minutes ago by SantanaBandana • Level 26: 15,000-30,000, 5,000 anteRobert Merulla - 4th PlaceRobert Merulla - 4th PlaceRobert Merulla opened to 70,000 on the button, Justin Filtz three-bet to 195,000 from the small blind, and Merulla moved all in for around 1.3 million. Filtz stood, waiting for a count, and once he received a ballpark number he called.Murella: {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}Filtz: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}The {5-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{j-Spades} flop didn't change much, but the {7-Spades} on the turn gave Murella six more outs to a straight (Filtz held the largest spade). The river was a spade - the {2-Spades} - and Merulla was eliminated in 4th place.Filtz added to his massive stack, and has over half of the chips in play.RealKidPoker Daniel Negreanu10,950 end level 4. This is part awesome, part sad. Awesome: Being able to sweat Fluff, considering all of the positive contributions he's made to this site, along with his seemingly always positive outlook on life, too. Hard to root against a guy who must average at least five emoticons per post.Sad: I just wish he could have done this when FCP was getting a lot of traffic flow. If this was a few years ago, I'd imagine we'd at least be on page 20 by now.Either way, GO GET 'EM FLUFF!! :club::4h:ts:5c:3h

Jarvis Fires Three Barrels, No Flinching From FiltzPosted 5 minutes ago by Shamus • Level 27: 20,000-40,000, 5,000 anteJustin FiltzJustin FiltzMatt Jarvis opened with a raise to 110,000 from the small blind/button, and Justin Filtz called. The flop came {4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and Filtz checked. Jarvis bet 120,000, and Filtz made the call. The turn brought the {A-Clubs} and another check from Filtz. This time Jarvis bet 210,000, and Filtz called once more. The river brought the {9-Hearts}. Filtz checked again, and Jarvis cut out a bet of 465,000. Filtz thought a few seconds, then called. Jarvis showed one card -- a {Q-} -- while Filtz turned over {A-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for aces and claimed the pot. That hand closes the gap between the two a bit. Jarvis has nearly 6.3 million while Filtz is up to about 4.6 million.
