:)I played a very weird hand that crippled me, but I stayed patient for 2 hours, picking shove spots even though I never really had any hands, then I got TT vs 55 and then JJ vs 55 to vault me back up to where I am going to tomorrow.Should be a fun time!

^^^ fo realz. And grats to all so far.I ended up 271st out of almost 4800 for $2060 in event #30. I'm still a little upset at myself for the last play I made, it is SO hard to ever get this far in a field this size, and I had a real shot at going much deeper if I had thought it through just a tad longer. I think it's rare to ever get shots like this and you have to maximize the potential with excellent decisions...and with that in mind I still doubt that play to some degree. But I've since talked to several great players, 100x better/more talented than me, who have reassured me that my play was actually not bad at all, so I take comfort in that. Thanks to all for the advice and comments.I have had a great series so far, with wins in cash games, won 2 out of the 3 satellites I've played (which led me to freerolling the Senior event), and now this deep run in event #30. I am grateful. and I still have my eye on the main? The tentative plan is to be back up there this weekend and then again over the 4th.Gl to everyone the rest of the way

Lang Doubles Through AronPosted 40 minutes ago by SantanaBandanaThe action folded to Michael Aron on the button, who opened to 30,000. Marco Lang three-bet shoved for 162,000 in the big blind, and Aron tank-called.Aron: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}Lang: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}There was a queen on the {q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop, giving Aron the lead, but Lang snatched it right back when the {a-Hearts} spiked on the turn. The {4-Hearts} on the river paired the board, and Lang received an early double up.Chip CountsMichael Anon opened to 25,000 from early position, Seyed Madani called in middle position, and Sean Ripp moved all in for 237,000 from the big blind. Anon mucked, but Madani made a hero call.Madani: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}Ripp: {a-Spades}{6-Spades}The board ran {8-Hearts}{3-Spades}{7-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, and Ripp was eliminated in 32nd placenonotbaxter Mike Aron332k at 8k 16k . 30 people left #inittowinit
