Ok, that's BIZARRE...my corporate firewall is blocking that image as "Pornography" whereas I can see all the others in the East (some in the West I can't see either). Very weird.
haha, I was wondering if you actually didn't see it or if you chose to ignore it.

Wow! Great hockey everywhere!EDIT: Marty St. Louis is a ****ing warrior.*warrior = hockey player
agree about St.Louis. Ive been placing bets on TB to win the Cup. got 19-1 before playoffs, then 35-1 after game 1. I couldnt believe the odds dropped that much just because of losing game 1 on the road. But I havent been able to watch many of the games, and Ive heard from others the games have actually been kinda bad, except maybe SJ-LA and last nights CHI-VAN. Havent seen anything today either.

My opinion may not be the norm because I can appreciate a great defensive effort.

Kunitz got one game. Seems fair, he's not a repeat offender in any way, and it's a similar play to Heatley and Marchand late in the regular season, and IIRC, they got two games each.

I think 1-game is a joke! The fact that he is not a repeat offender carries much less importance than the fact he tried to take the head off a guy who's career was undoubtedly in jeopardy at one point because of concussion issues.

Bolded doesn't seem like it should be relevant to me.

The more I think about it, you're right, that was a pretty homer initial reply.I think it's too short for both players. The Kunitz elbow was really retarded. Like, he went out of his way to hit him.Downie should have gotten more because all he does is try to injure people.

More relevant than past history imo.
I gotta disagree. I dont think you punish based more on the victim's history, you punish more based on the perpetrators history.I think Downie should have got 1gm more, but I dont think he attempts to injure/hit like he used to. He had toned down his game, til last night.I think its beyond appaling that Kunitz is not out for a long time. I would be ok with 10games in playoffs, or rest of playoffs. I dont understand how what Kunitz did can be anything other than a cheap attempt to injure. You could probably convince me in many other suspensions that a player was trying to play the body, and the head got hit. But Kunitz? Come on, short of taking out his stick and swinging it at the guys head, what more proof do you need of intent to injure? Im trying not to care and stay out of this suspension stuff. Takes away from my enjoyment of hockey. But its everywhere. As for staying out of the discussion here, frankly, I think some of you guys play the homer card on these things super quick. (that wasnt a dig at you Zach, I hadnt even noticed your reply+retraction)
