brvheart 1,757
imagine if the roles were reversed in Rand Paul story....the left would losing what remains of their collective minds. Any info yet on the shooting outside of San Antonio? Anti-Religion leftist.
brvheart 1,757
sounds about right in line with reasonable based on the area...but of course, to nobodies surprise, you toss the gun comment in while acting like you want to take the high road and not make it political... we wonder why we can' get along. This is an excellent summary of the left. From the use of carbon, down to forum discussions. so please don't politicize it. umm, it should be politicized is the point. eyeroll

FCP Bob 1,321
Anti-Religion leftist. Whack job who shouldn't be allowed buy a gun buys an assault rifle and a shit ton of magazines and ammo because the Air Force screwed up and didn't enter him into the database that would flag him. He has a long history of violence against family members and for some ****ed up reason decides to kill his in laws and everybody at their Church because of a dispute with them. Police have said the only motivation they can find is a family dispute.
scuudagouch 15
really? so we already have laws in place that say a whacko like him isn't allowed to have a gun...but the government in general sucks at doing its job and screwed up...so the obvious solution is to make more laws, that go against our own constitution, so our government can screw those up as well? Good idea Bob...you are on your game today! This problem brought to you by the same people who think they can do a better job with your health!!!

JustDoIt 10
https://twitter.com/...249997376638976 Another decent rebuttal of the Hillary Victory Fund broohaha LOL......Your decent rebuttal left out one important fact. True HVC sent that money to those states and those states promptly sent the money to the DNC. In the end the states retained approximately 10% of the money.

True HVC sent that money to those states and those states promptly sent the money to the DNC. In the end the states retained approximately 10% of the money. But then she reportedly spent resources in various states for downticket candidates so while they may have not directly controlled more than 10% they would have gained the benefit of more than 20%. It seems like a moot point though; as more and more the voter base is divided into more separate fragments, the more people are voting for a single party on their ballot and there the more and more advertising should go party brands than individual candidates. brvheart 1,757
The first of many outcomes that Republicans aren't going to like moving forward. Virginia is a blue state in a blue region. The GOP isn't going to be hurt by this outcome. 14 seats is nothing. That being said, I don't think Trump wins reelection. (Unless Hillary runs again)
GOCUBSGO 77
The number of seats lost and the location of those seats is not why Republicans should be concerned.
brvheart 1,757
Really? So if the dems pick up one seat in Hawai'i the GOP should be super concerned?
GOCUBSGO 77
Really? So if the dems pick up one seat in Hawai'i the GOP should be super concerned? That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying the number of seats won this week in Virginia and New Jersey are largely irrelevant when looking at the big picture, but you can take away a lot more from these elections than simply the number of seats won and which way the state traditionally leans. I'll go into more detail later if you genuinely want to have a discussion about this, but suffice it to say that I think the Republicans should be very worried as we head towards 2018 for several reasons. Fenxis 99
2 probably not but I would love to hear your logic. The general idea with these state and special elections the winner is generally already pre-determined by the state demographics (and gerrymandering...). But what of interested to people looking at 2018 / 2020 is the size of victory. ie: if it's a district normally won by Republicans by +20% and in a election they only win by +5%. Remove a certain amount of % because in side elections people like to send signals so you could predict that there's currently a shift of 5-10% away from the Republicans in my hypothetical example. I don't think either has any qualities in their character or intellect that qualify them to hold any public office. The fact they are both perverts is a small part of it. Careful about talking about corruption when you support Trump. I assume you're talking about Sen Menendez from the great State of New Jersey. Yah, he's a scumbag.
