The most interesting thing about the worlds largest beaver dam is that it was discovered via Google Earth and some guy trekked out there to see it IRL and was the first person to ever set foot in that

Beware of overcharging someone. Thats the #1 lesson learned from the Zimmerman case. He was guilty of avoidable behavior that ultimately culminated in a fatality- manslaughter- but he was not guilty

You should've tried to get on the jury and convince the rest that he was not guilty.

As always, follow the money as it explains a lot.

There is nothing illegal about the donations from a Russian billionaire with close ties to Putin who is also an American citizen.

Tangled web connects Russian oligarch money to GOP campaigns

Party loyalty is often cited as the reason that GOP leaders have not been more outspoken in their criticism of President Donald Trump and his refusal to condemn Russia's interference in the 2016 presidential election. Yet there may be another reason that top Republicans have not been more vocal in their condemnation. Perhaps it's because they have their own links to the Russian oligarchy that they would prefer go unnoticed.

Donald Trump and the political action committees for Mitch McConnell, Marco Rubio, Scott Walker, Lindsey Graham, John Kasich and John McCain accepted $7.35 million in contributions from a Ukrainian-born oligarch who is the business partner of two of Russian president Vladimir Putin's favorite oligarchs and a Russian government bank.

During the 2015-2016 election season, Ukrainian-born billionaire Leonid "Len" Blavatnik contributed $6.35 million to leading Republican candidates and incumbent senators. Mitch McConnell was the top recipient of Blavatnik's donations, collecting $2.5 million for his GOP Senate Leadership Fund under the names of two of Blavatnik's holding companies, Access Industries and AI Altep Holdings, according to Federal Election Commission documents and OpenSecrets.org.

They gave money to losing candidates for president then donated $1m to Trump in January...2 months after he won.

Weird way to hack an election....wait till its over then donate to the winner.

Probably the only company in history to donate to the ruling party. When you think about it, it's a pretty good idea to curry favor with the party in power.

Especially since the other party is in free fall and likely to not be in power for a couple decades.

London forcing builders of new flats to have a gay bar.

Enforcement will be carried out by government workers

In the story they point out that almost 60% of gay bars in London have closed.

Wonder what group of people in Londoninstan would have a problem with gay people...causing gay people to not want to congregate in the open, causing gay bars to shut down en masse?

Methodist?

that is funny, what he needs to do is put book ends on the "investigation" for Russian involvement....then he can be finished since he can't find anything. This is a witch hunt, it is going nowhere and it is because not enough republicans have any balls. This would never have happened to BHO or the Clintons because Dems wouldn't allow it.

Honestly I don't want to hate republicans but it is hard not to. The only reason I don't is because Democrats 10x worse or more.

I guess I we finally able to tie and investigation of slick Willie and Crooked Hillary to this and send their asses to jail it will all be worthwhile.

TPP was such a great deal for the US. It's really too bad that it was killed by Trump as it would have been by Sanders. I think Clinton was lying when she said she was against it and would have found a way to keep the US in it.

Trump’s Trade Pullout Roils Rural America

After the U.S. withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, other nations launch 27 separate negotiations to undercut U.S. exporters.

So other countries are going to strive to get the best deal for themselves in a trade deal.

Why shouldn't America?

Using any method necessary?

To make America great again?

The US already had a trade deal that was in the US's favour. It pulled out for dumb reasons. Because the US has pulled out any new bilateral deals are more likely to be worse than what the US had in the TPP.

Also TPP had huge geopolitical benefits that are now gone.

It was huge and really complicated, though. That one article just cites one anecdotal example of where ag exports might be harmed.

So that was the absolute best deal that we could ever expect?

Surprising since even Hillary was against it.

This might be the best parody account ever.

The "Co"-chair today said a brutal dictator who kills children is more presidential than Trump.

Dude if this was the real DNC, it would be amazing.

Luckily they are a parody of a political party.

I think we have a deep throat here. All that we need is for the NSA to produce the evidence of a DNC hack.

I am sure that GOCUBS will have no problem of the source.

Former NSA experts say it wasn’t a hack at all, but a leak—an inside job by someone with access to the DNC’s system.

You two are ridiculous

Wow, The Nation and Slate, well written stuff thought they brought some good stuff to the debate. Glad to see you bring something to the debate.

Obama gave his last press conference as president, at which he delivered one of the great gems among the official statements on the DNC e-mail question. “The conclusions of the intelligence community with respect to the Russian hacking,” the legacy-minded Obama said, “were not conclusive.”

Obvious DNC was not hacked. And eventually who ever did it will come out if we are lucky.

Let's see, they've burned cop cars, attacked people with acid, wear masks to hide their identity and physically assault people with bike locks.

No they're not violent...
