FARGOpokerND 22
Thanks for doing some math. I'm glad that posting the hand got a good discussion going. All players being equal, I would agree that this is a good spot to shove, but when you factor in the skill level of opponents and the value of seeing more hands, I would still be hesitant to shove.I can't tell, are you putting yourself down? Isn't everyone morons at both buyin levels?

Isn't everyone morons at both buyin levels? It's not the morons it's the slow play that's painful, I certainly don't want to play with a bunch of sharks, the $2.20 180s are turbo and move fast and finish in 1.5 hours vs. 4 hours for the $4.40s. Since there isn't a 180 in the $5 range and the next one is $7.70 the $2.20s are the closest buy in to the $4.40. I just greatly prefer turbos, not to mention you can load 8 to 10 $2.20 180s in a matter of minutes while the $4.40s take forever to load.

I always play turbos, and I guess this is why they call it "grinding". So far, it seems the type of players in the $2.20s and $4.40s are the same. I like to get into shove/fold mode faster. I like flippin.

Good Tom Hunting 0
I can't tell, are you putting yourself down? No, the opposite. I was trying to say that since I believe my skill level is higher on average than the skill level of the remaining players, I wouldn't want to shove in such a small EV spot there with that stack size. I will usually muck 44 in that spot with ~ 15 to 30 bb

I will usually muck 44 in that spot with ~ 15 to 30 bbI was talking about you saying you are not good in my situation when I shove into you because I shouldn't shove with poor quality of players behind me (and since you were behind me, you made an indirect shot at yourself)Also, if you are going to make marginal folds with 44, it should be 18-22bb, not 15 or 30bb... I still am quite positive its a shove in any case, although it is closer to breakeven play 18-22.
vbnautilus 48
Would anyone be interested in doing this once every other month and/or once every four months or something like that, and that at end of the year do a Tournament of Champions or something like that?no.
