Odds of getting any 2 card combination is 1/1326.So for both of you to have AA would be 1/1326 X 1/1326 = 1 in 1,758,276I hope that's right. Yay math!Welcome to the forum. :club:
thanks.....wow !! lucky i didn't get hit by a lightning bolt on the way home !?!?

I haven't personally thought this through, but this sounds like a plausible answer for a given hand.Ask the WizardIf ten people are each dealt two cards from a single deck what is the probability that two players will get a pair of aces? First, there are 10*9/2=45 ways you can choose 2 players out of 10. The probability of two specific players getting four aces is 1/combin(52,4)=1/270,725. So the probability of any two players getting a pair of aces is 45/270,725=0.0001662. Aug. 7, 2003

50/50Even it happens or it doesn't.
What do you think the probability of a given reader not having heard this joke is? I estimate 0.03.

Hah. I saw that you were the last post in here and I was like, "Cool, now I get the full explanation along with a pun." I was so much happier when I realized the answer had already been posted, BaseJester burned a guy, aaaaand you gave me a way funnier answer than a pun. Good thread.
