2:20pm: Ghobrial the giant-killer?Sydney's Jimmy Ghobrial was the perpetrator behind the demise of Team PokerStars Pro Chris Moneymaker's demise and has just taken a huge chunk of change off Daniel Negreanu to leave him with around 30,000 in chips. The action folded around to Slovenian PokerStars Player Kasey Castle who raised to 3000 from middle position before Negreanu flat-called. Ghobrial then reraised to 9500 from the cutoff and the others got out of the way before Negreanu four-bet shoved for around 80,000. Ghobrial instantly called all-in for 60,900 and revealed K♠K♦, well ahead of the Q♠Q♣ of Negreanu.Players from other tables were quick to rush over to catch the flop, which to Ghobrial's horror fell 6♣5♦Q♦. Negreanu kept the lead when a blank 4♣ on the turn, but Ghobrial erupted when the K♣ appeared on the river."Yes!" Ghobrial cried. As he sat back down to rake in the pot, he was still in disbelief at what just happened. "What's going on?" he asked everyone within earshot. "First it was Joe, now it was almost Daniel!" Ghobrial is now in great shape with more than 140,000 in chips.

5:35pm: Negreanu scores a doubleTeam PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu is now back up to more than 100,000 after doubling through South Korean PokerStars Qualifier In-Wook Choi. The railbirds were quick to surround table 25 after the cry of "All in, call" went up from table 25; Negreanu had moved his last 47,100 into the middle before the flop with A♠J♥ but was flipping for his tournament life against Choi's T♥T♦.Negreanu fell further behind after Choi hit a set on the flop of Q♣T♠4♠, but to the crowd's delight Negreanu spiked the K♥ on the turn for Broadway. He still had to avoid the board pairing but the river was a harmless 9♥. Choi took a hit back to 100,000.

5:50pm: Negreanu chips up againCanadian Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu is back in the hunt, eliminating another opponent and is now back up to 170,000. The spectators were once again crushed in as close as possible around table 25 and we just squeezed through to see a board that read 2-2-K-K-J; Negreanu moved all-in on the river and his opponent called, showing K-Q but he quickly took his leave after Negreanu tabled K-J for a bigger full house.

6:10pm: Negreanu straightened by ChoiEasy come, easy go, for Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu. After getting himself up to around 180,000 he's just taken a hit to slip back into the pack.In Wook Choi was the man responsible after raising preflop and finding two callers in Negreanu and Yann Pauchon to a flop of 5♦3♠6♥.Action checked to Negreanu who bet 10,000. Pauchon folded but Choi made the call as the 9♥ hit the turn. Both players checked and the river produced the A♦. Choi led out with a bet of 30,000 and Negreanu got talking to himself before convincing himself to splash the pot with a call.Choi showed 8♣7♣ for a straight which was good."That was a bad river for me," sighed Negreanu as his cards hit the muck to slip back to 135,000. Choi is up to 150,000.

15pm: Kinkade trapped by NegreanuIn Wook Choi opened up with a raise to 7,000 from under the gun. Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu flat-called in the hijack position before Jay "SEABEAST" Kinkade squeezed it up to 25,000 from the button. The blinds folded as did Choi, as Negreanu took a moment to cut down his chips before he declared himself all in."Yeah, okay, I call," sighed Kinkade as he revealed 9♣9♠ but the beast had been trapped as Negreanu showed A♦A♣.The board landed 2♣K♦2♠5♠7♣ and Kinkade couldn't find a nine to save himself as he was sent to the rail. Negreanu is now looking good for a deep run as he jumps up to 260,000 chips.

Hi Bob,That's interesting you're in my hood while I'm in Sydney. I've just finished the morning briefing with the film crew and should be a great webcast. They're a great and professional bunch. The expected guest commentators are Joe Hachem, Tony Hachem and Celina Lin. Daniel is confirmed to be on the feature table and lead anchor, Paul Khoury, will also answer questions during the webcast. If FCPers are railing and want to ask a question you can email nuts@pokerstars.tv

my goodness, I'm going to PM you my personal email so this doesn't happen again. I'm in Macau like 95% of the time so it's pretty sick to go 0-2.
