I am pretty sure that is 7:30EST.I wouldn't be able to make it until quite a bit later, but I'm fine if I miss it.Here's my input:- I'm in favor of keeping the league, but I really don't have time to play any role in running the league. I put a decent amount of time over the past few years to keep this thing going...and that was with the automated site. There will be work to go around if we're doing this in a forum. This is a super busy year for me, so I'd really appreciate it if someone (or a group of people) took it over.- I only want to keep it going if we can carry over our rosters and farm teams. I'm OK with minor rule changes or format changes, but I want to keep my prospects.- The sooner we can start, the better. However, it's going to be really tough to find a draft day that works for everyone.

First thing, I can't make it tomorrow, cause Leafs vs. Pens tickets fell into my lap.Second, I can put in work for this league if you guys want, I really want this league to go on. I could also use some help as well. If you guys are fine with it, I would move with it.I am also in favor of keeping teams/farms, as thats the whole point right. The forum/spreadsheet format would work best on short notice, not as fun, but keeps the league going.I'll be on MSN all day tomorrow, til 4:30 est. If any of you wanna discuss things.

Sadly, I may also not be around tonight to discuss. However, if any are concerned about keeping the league going, we're working just fine in the FCHL. Yes, a few people have had to take on some extra work, but it isn't dozens of hours a week or anything. Luckily, we can always sponge off that work if we need to! Good examples for the kind of work that'd need to be done (a comprehensive spreadsheet, forums for standings, rosters, transactions, etc) are already done.

If we we had a dedicated forum I bet a couple of us would already have had this going. I can put some time in to get it running.what's the status of the forum...can someone from the FCHL possibly hook us up?

Someone made a forum, and a few of us signed up. I think others are in the same boat as me, that the administrators haven't activated our passwords yet!If there's a problem with that one, I can always set up a new board when I get home tonight.

Sweet, thanks Brian. I think we should just use that forum. We should just scrap the other one. I was admin for the other one and all users were activated but for whatever reason it wasn't working to start threads and post. I also didn't have the time to look into it or fix; the last few weeks have been kinda crazy.I'm very much still interested in continuing with the league even if it's run through forum/spreadsheets. However, I don't really wanna be the one having to run it or get it all started. I'm glad everyone is willing to help out and are still interested in moving on. I will be willing to help out with the work throughout the year though for sure and pull my weight. Sorry if I missed the meeting tonight, I couldn't make it afterall.

BUMPI've decided to give up my team afterall. That is, assuming there's someone who wants to take it. I will stick with it for this season if you need me to, but the lack of an automated site has really lessened my interest in this league.My team is pretty good (and should be very good in a couple of years).Toews, Jonathan 49 18 26 31.0 7.5 8.25 9 9.75 10.5 FAParise, Zach 54 25 32 41.0 7.75 9 10.25 11.5 12.75 FASavard, Marc 30 9 15 16.5 6.5 7 7.5 FA Turris, Kyle 0 0 0 0.0 4 4 4 4 4 FAGagne, Simon 29 6 14 13.0 3 3.25 3.5 3.75 FA Okposo, Kyle 55 12 25 24.5 1 1 1 FA Bergfors, Niclas 53 13 14 20.0 1 Oshie, T.J. 51 11 18 20.0 1.5 1.5 1.5 1.5 FA Moulson, Matt 56 20 13 26.5 1 1 Ryan, Bobby 55 24 19 33.5 1.25 1.25 1.25 1.25 1.25 FAJokinen, Jussi 53 17 22 28.0 0.25 0.5 Samuelsson, Mikael 54 18 18 27.0 0.25 0.5 Kaberle, Tomas 56 5 38 24.0 3.25 3.25 3.25 3.25 FA Liles, John-Michael 38 4 19 13.5 2.25 2.25 2.25 2.25 FA Corvo, Joe 27 4 8 8.0 2.5 2.5 2.5 FA Bieksa, Kevin 40 1 15 8.5 1.5 1.75 2 2.25 FA Russell, Kris 47 6 10 11.0 0.75 0.75 0.75 FA Michalek, Zbynek 47 3 8 7.0 0.25 0.25 FA Pietrangelo, Alex 9 1 1 1.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 FAOduya, Johnny 0 0 0 0.0 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 FANashville Predators 0 1.25 1.25 1.25 1.25 1.25 FAAtlanta Thrashers 0 0.25 0.25 FA Farm TeamPlayer Team Salary Year Drafted RoundHodgson, Cody F 2 2009 1Dalpe, Zac F 1 2010 2Etem, Emerson F 1 2010 2Watson, Austin F 1 2010 2Tedenby, Mattias F 1 2009 3Colborne, Joe F 1 2009 2Panik, Richard F 0.5 2009 7Rajala, Toni F 0.5 2009 6Morin, Jeremy F 0.5 2009 4Ennis, Tyler F 0.5 2009 5Fowler, Cam D 2 2010 1Ekman-Larsson, Oliver D 1 2009 2Gormley, Brandon D 1 2010 2Kulikov, Dmitry D 1 2009 2Karlsson, Erik D 1 2009 2McBain, Jamie D 0.5 2009 5Draft Picks & Salary >> 2010Round 4 Snipe McNastyRound 5 The North Stars09/10Salary Cap: $51.00Committed Salary: $48Players Signed: 222011Round 1 The North StarsRound 3 The North StarsRound 4 The North StarsRound 5 The North Stars10/11Salary Cap: $65.00Committed Salary: $50.5Players Signed: 212012Round 1 The North StarsRound 1 The North StarsRound 2 The North StarsRound 2 The North StarsRound 3 The North StarsRound 3 The North StarsRound 4 The North StarsRound 4 The North StarsRound 5 The North StarsRound 5 The North Stars11/12Salary Cap: $65.00Committed Salary: $51Players Signed: 16I'm not sure how the teams are being handed out to the new GMs, but here's one more that's up for grabs.PS. I started grad school in August so I'm now getting a better idea of the work involved and it looks like I'm just not going to be able to dedicate the time that this league deserves.dEvs BamFs Player Games Goals Assists FCHL PTS 9 -10 10 -11 11 -12 12 -13 13 -14 14 -15 15-16 Vanek, Thomas 71 28 25 40.5 8.5 9.25 10 10.75 FA Boyes, Brad 82 14 28 28 7.5 8.25 9 9.75 FA Carter, Jeff 74 33 28 47 4.5 5 5.5 6 6.5 FA Kessel, Phil 70 30 25 42.5 3.5 3.5 3.5 3.5 3.5 FA Drury, Chris 77 14 18 23 2.5 2.5 2.5 FA Staal, Jordan 82 21 28 35 1.5 1.5 1.5 1.5 1.5 FA Zubrus, Dainius 51 10 17 18.5 1 1 FA Hejduk, Milan 56 23 21 33.5 1.5 1.5 FA Bertuzzi, Todd 82 18 26 31 1.5 FA Sturm, Marco 76 22 15 29.5 1.75 1.75 FA Rolston, Brian 80 20 17 28.5 1.75 1.75 FA Samsonov, Sergei 72 14 15 21.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 FA Fedotenko, Ruslan 80 11 19 20.5 0.75 RFA Ladd, Andrew 82 17 21 27.5 0.75 0.75 0.75 0.75 FA Armstrong, Colby 79 15 14 22 0.25 RFA Svatos, Marek 54 7 4 9 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 FA Nolan, Owen 73 16 17 24.5 0.25 RFA Lidstrom, Nicklas 82 9 40 29 3.5 RFA Meszaros, Andrej 81 6 11 11.5 1 1 1 1 FA Klesla, Rostislav 26 2 6 5 1 RFA Hamhuis, Dan 78 5 19 14.5 1 1 FA Goligoski, Alex 69 8 29 22.5 0.75 0.75 0.75 0.75 0.75 FA Koistinen, Ville 17 1 3 2.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 FA Bergeron, Marc-Andre 60 13 21 23.5 0.75 RFA Salo, Sami 68 9 19 18.5 0.25 0.25 FA Van Ryn, (Buyout) 0 0 0 0 0.5 0.5 FA Goalies Team GA 10-Sep 11-Oct 12-Nov 13-Dec 13/14 14/15 Carolina Hurricanes 0 1.5 1.75 2 2.25 2.5 FA New York Islanders 0 1 1 1 1 1 FA Farm Team Player Team Salary Year Drafted Round Hall, Taylor F 2 2010 1 Glennie, Scott F 1 2009 2 Eberle, Jordan F 1 2009 2 Tangradi, Eric F 1 2009 3 Kuznetsov, Evgeny F 1 2010 2 Palushaj, Aaron F 0.5 2009 5 Kugryshev, Dmitri F 0.5 2009 6 Hedman, Victor D 2 2009 1 Despres, Simon D 1 2010 3 Grant, Alex D 0.5 2009 7 Gardiner, Jake D 0.5 2009 4 2010 Round 4 dEvs BamFs Round 5 dEvs BamFs 10-Sep Salary Cap: $50.75 Committed Salary: $50.25 Players Signed: 27 2011 Round 1 dEvs BamFs Round 1 Snipe McNasty Round 2 dEvs BamFs Round 3 dEvs BamFs Round 4 dEvs BamFs Round 5 dEvs BamFs 11-Oct Salary Cap: $65.00 Committed Salary: $44.50 Players Signed: 20 2012 Round 1 dEvs BamFs Round 2 dEvs BamFs Round 3 dEvs BamFs Round 4 dEvs BamFs Round 5 dEvs BamFs 12-Nov Salary Cap: $65.00 Committed Salary: $39 Players Signed: 14

I'll take thehammer's team!I hope once the league gets rolling you guys will reconsider. Jay and the others in the FCHL can vouch for just how little work it is. One person needs to put in a couple hours a week keeping the roster spreadsheet updated, but that's about it.Everyone else can devote 5 minutes a few times a week to submitting a lineup.

You can still create a yahoo league to help set lineups. In teh FCHL we created a yahoo league, manually entered all rosters. We set it up that for 6 F, 4D, 1 UTI, 1G, 16 BN. On a game night each team sets their lineup using the UTI spot for their OT player. Whichever position that player is you leave one spot empty. For example. You dress 5 F, 4D, 1G, 1UTI. Yahoo can be set to keep score of the offense with 1pt for G and .5 for A. The only thing someone has to keep score of is Goalies since you can't use teams on yahoo but figuring the goalie score is easy. I tend to do the scoring at the end of the game night or in the morning and it takes me less than 5 minutes.
