Heh, I have kept my mouth shut about that one.
You have all been impressive in that regard. I know the 'fun' is building your own team and succeeding that way. But hard work only got anyone so far. No one likes putting in their time, then seeing the boss' son come in, do nothing, and get installed in a job two levels above yours. Sure, you wouldn't feel 'proud' in the same situation, and sure enough, Dubey isn't on here gloating about his team. But man...it is annoying!

Sorry guys.I figured there would be some grumbling. I felt uncomfortable about the whole situation, and to be honest, I'd probably rather come in as an expansion team. but on the other hand, I'm certainly not going to turn down the oppurtunity to join the FCHL. Regardless of the circumstance, I'm really happy to join the league. hopefully there are no hard feelings.

TRADE YA!kidding. I think what I love about the FCHL is we all appreciate the different levels on building a fantasy team.I loved competing my first 2/3 years (duh), but now Im getting as much, if not more pleasure, in destroying what I had and rebuilding from the ruins. Lets face it, Im WAY behind most in that regard, but Im happy to put in the time. Seems like almost all the guys, if not all, can say the same thing.

hehe.I cut back on my facebook useage a few years ago. I had a (psycho) ex-girlfriend send messages to my current girlfriend through facebook, basically trying (unsuccesfully) to sabotage our relationship through facebook. I almost deleted FB right then, but ultimately decided not to, and just adjusted my privacy settings so random people can't get my information now, and nobody can post on my wall or anything. FB is WAY too loosey-goosey with their privacy settings unless you manually change them.

The site that kevin found isn't too bad. If we are potentially folding - I wouldn't be opposed to starting a new keeper with the same GM's and without a cap and slightly different rules. It would be better than nothing at all. We could bring our own farm teams over without issue. If we didn't have a cap it wouldn't be fair to bring our regular rosters over though.

Well this sucks. I barely dedicate enough time to this league as it is. The site (while not perfect) made things quite a bit easier. Without a resolution I'm afraid I might have to give my team up to the highest bidder. (jk...maybe)http://www.realfantasysports.net/fchl2/teampage.php?id=3
dev, your team is OK. The farm team is outstanding, and if I were you, I'd stick it out.

I'm kinda torn regarding the life of the league. On the one hand, my team is so stocked with young talent/prospects that I really want it to continue. At the same time it takes up more of my time than I like. If we are going to forum route, I only see that getting worse.I say we move it to a different, free site. We'll have to change the rules and maybe even the format slightly , but we should keep our current teams as much as we can. First, we need Nell to link the FCHL2's Forum tab here, so that we can get everyone in on the discussion. It doesn't look like the draft will happen this weekend...

Unless someone is willign to to set up and doing some legwork for this league it won't work.I don't have the free time to commit to this as a commish or organizer but I don't want to see it fold. I will have free time next week to help set it up but I won't be able to upkeep on a regular basis.I think we should go ahead with FA auion this Sunday and see how commited everyone is then. We can decide then and there if we are folding or not.So DannyG, are you up to take nell's team? http://www.realfantasysports.net/fchl2/teampage.php?id=8We draft sunday at noon.

I would also really like to keep the league going. I've become too attached to my team to quit now. Honestly, if we have to do everything on a forum/spreadsheet I don't want to be the one in charge. But if we have a site I'd be willing to help out with the maintenance for sure.I'd be willing to try the site that Kevin found. We might have to change a few details about the league but it could work. If possible though it'd be nice to transfer over our full rosters. Why don't you think the cap will work on that site Jeff? Is it not possible to trade cap space? If we can get everyone on board or find some replacements(if we have to) we should at least be able to do the FA draft sometime before Thursday. And also the rest of the entry draft. We'll probably also need a few of us to chip in on setting everything up.

It won't work with the cap the same way because cap isn't tradeable. Once it is set or changed - it changes across the board for everyone and you can't edit it for individual teams.

I def dont wanna see this league die, I have too much fun with it as it is. I'd be willing to do some legwork if I can get a co-commish with me. The spreadsheet format might work best as Fantrax is not a good site to work with, I just quit a league because of its reliability.
