Anybody see this? It wasn't bad, although a number of things did annoy me. This Johnny Iuzzini character is kind of a douche [google gets credit for the correct spelling]. Maybe not a douche, but he's no Tom Colicchio.Dexter looks like the frontrunner, kind of by a lot, and the rest of you can go suck it!And can we talk about how incredibly annoying Mr. Glitter was? First of all there's the fact that he's the most annoying human being ever to walk the earth, but second of all I can't believe he was in the top 3 after the blowing fiasco. Before anybody responded, when they showed a shot of him bending over and blowing some nonsense onto the dessert I was immediately like, 'Jesus dude what are you doing? You think anybody wants to eat a dessert that you just blew all over?' And Mr. Chocolate had this look of shock and embarrassment on his face that he hid fairly well. I just thought he shoulda got chewed out wayyyyy more over that. Also it looked like somebody had taken a diarrhea shit all over his plate, but apparently it tasted good. If you missed the show, think of the absolute gayest voice you can, and imagine that voice saying "Glitter!" and you'll get a good idea of Mr. Glitter.

Dunno if anybody else is still watching this, it's somewhat bizarre for a few reasons. First there was Dexter, and he was really weird and had emotional problems that eventually took him out of the competition. And like 70% of the other contestants are horrible bitches (men and women). I'm 100% rooting for Morgan now. Erika (aka the Chocolate Ninja) is cool too, but everybody else is just painfully annoying. Yigit seemed kinda cool for a minute but he's obviously not. The baker guy is ok too, but he obviously doesn't have a chance at winning the competition. It was so annoying how 'team go diva' were talking shit about Morgan's piece. It was obviously gorgeous, how about instead of trying to take him down a notch just worry about yourself and how horrible of a bitch you're coming across as. I mean, some people, jeez. And Glitter is always going on about how he knows more than everybody. Dude, shut your face. I hate you.

I saw the cast for Top Chef all-stars. Looks good, but there are a few notables missing, but then again, I've only watched for three seasons I think. Maybe two. Or is it three? Three. Hosea, Voltaggio and Kevin

God I hate everyone on this show, but I still watch it for some reason. Morgan is a complete tool by most standards, but "Team Diva" some how makes him the most likable person on the show. The Weepy Baker is ok too I guess.I'm sure I wasn't the only one who thought "She's gone" immediately after making a comment about how great her ice cream is.On a positive note, I liked how they brought out the losing group first and how the guys were all gripping that they were in the bottom.

Yeah, we all agree that the show is terrible and yet we're all watching, just to get some kind of Top Chef fix. I think Top Chef All Stars starts in 5 or 6 weeks, so that'll be good. Definitely agree that Morgan and the weepy baker are the only 2 non-horrible people left, now that Chocolate-Ninja is gone. Yigit makes some crazy cool stuff, but he's a total bitch. The Asian is the absolute worst.

Well I am watching now. The show is definitely missing something. It feels like I hardly get a sense for what most people have made, you see it for a second and get 10 seconds of criticism from the judges, and that is it. Maybe it's the same timing in Top Chef but because we are less familiar with desserts (what is a feuillitine? what is a jelee?) it goes over our heads more. Also how come someone makes something with basil EVERY WEEK? There have been like 3 basil ice creams, 3 basil whipped creams etc. I am going to keep watching while I do other things, and I am rooting for Yight(?) I don't know how to spell his name. Yee. I want Yee to win. I HATE Danielle and it is utter bullshit that she is still around, especially considering they got rid of Erica already who was wayyyy better.

I'm not quite sure how Yigit (sp?) didn't get sent home. He didn't finish his food!!!!! Granted in the grand scheme of things he's miles ahead of the weepy baker, but WB appeared to have plated enough food for all of the guests.Anyone else think that Gidget was caught off gaurd by Weepy's full on attempt to suck face after he was kicked off? While I'm still rooting for Morgan, I think Julie Andrews has a good shot and I'd be ok of she won.

Ugh, I hate Julie and her plastered-on smile. I'll miss the weepy baker, but I definitely thought he deserved to go. His dish was just way less interesting, visually at least, and they didn't like the way it tasted. I'm not sure it's really accurate to say that Yigit "didn't finish." He might not have finished all of his imagined components, but he still presented something that looked reasonable and had a whole lot of components and textures. They just weren't very tasty.

Finale was okay, nothing too surprising. One thing I don't like is how they got paired with a former competitor as their sous-chef. Just let them pick who they want instead of doing a lottery - I watch the show for interesting chefery, not to see if Morgan and Bitch-woman are able to get along for 2 hours. Anyway, I think Top Chef All Stars starts pretty soon, like next week.

I taped the 2nd airing cause I had other things taping earlier..... so I turn it on, and they show Gail from the previous episode like... Congrats on being the winner of Top Chef Desserts, here's your new car!! WTF!!The perfect shit ending to a horrible shitty show.

Yeah, this show pretty much sucked. I hated every contestant.I'm really disappointed that Dexter didn't physically injure anyone during his freak-out. I'm really disappointed that Morgan didn't make some huge homo-phobic rant and get booted. I'm never going to get all of the stupid faces and sounds that Danielle made out of my head. The Asian with a catcher's mitt for a face was the most horrific bitch I've ever seen. Captain Glitter annoyed me at every single point he was on the show; he's of the philosophy that being incredibly mean is fine so long as your wildly flamboyant. Somehow I watched all the episodes, though. It's gotta be Gail, she makes my face feel warm every time she giggles. I kind of like Johnny, too, and I have some strange older-chubby-lady-crush on Sherry Yard.

i just watched portions of the first episode. i still have 15 minutes to go, but by writing something up on here i get to miss more of it. i won't be watching more episodes. i shall vote with my feet. or with my remote. OR with my feet with a boot to their collective heads. boots. feet, boots. <taking sock off> put this in it, mr glitter.really, how the hell did you people slog through an entire set of episodes?

I'm so glad that I didn't even attempt to watch an episode of this show.I wonder what will happen with the next Top Chef season. It's the only cooking competition show I like, but I feel like they think they need to keep going over the top to do more interesting things (hence: all stars), and I'm worried that they'll mess with the format.
