It has a lot of talent behind the movie (and in it) which is the only possible way this movie could be great. Whenever I see a trailer for it I feel like I've already seen it or read the story.

Its also based on the book "The Accidental Billionaires" by the same guy who wrote "Bringing Down the House". I read the book which I didn't think was that great but the movie seems to be getting a good amount of hype

I read an article with one of the guys in Accidental Billionaires and he says the author Ben Mezrich took a lot of liberties with the book.

I thought it was good, not great.I believed that all the characters were smart, really smart. I didn't feel the film making was as smart or challenging as the characters. I thought it was good and solid--but not mindblowing.

I have read tons of great reviews etc, and I have zero interest in seeing this movie. However if they make a movie about MySpace and they do it in 3-D and it gets better reviews, then I will still not care.

His books aren't very deep. But perfect airport reading books, which is 20X smarter money wise than writing a well researched book.

To sum it up in one sentence:The movie was absolutely outstanding, but Andrew Garfield as Eduardo Saverin took it a step further; likely the soul of a film whom without, would have only one half, with a brilliant Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg. The wit and business-savvy used in this movie, along with the occasional laugh was impeccably great.

That's two sentences.

Just saw it, really liked it. Classic Aaron Sorkin writing all over the place and the actors do a great job (especially Justin Timberlake, who knew).I can see why Zuckerberg decided to give away 100 million bucks right before this opened though.

Aaron Sorkin on the screenplay? David Fincher directing? Just those two alone make this worth seeing
The first thing Fincher did when he signed on to direct was sit down with Sorkin. He had Sorkin read his entire script the way Sorkin heard it in his head and he timed each scene. Then when he filmed it, he made sure each scene was the "right" length. The opening scene was 5 minutes and 7 seconds when Sorkin read it to him. The opening scene in the movie is 5 minutes and 7 seconds. They also did 99 takes of that scene to get the cadence just right. (I feel like they should've just gone ahead and done one more take at that point.)
