just another live "pro" with a heightened ego due to a live hot streak crashing back down to earth. this honestly happens a lot and is really sad, minus the jumping into rivers.

so True, when I worked as a paramedic in the Falls, we would get a lot of jumpers after losing big time from the Casino's there. The stats are very sad.

Poor guy...... I bet he started playing outside of his bankroll... I've gone broke before but tryin to commit suicide over money... f**k that.... money can't bring you back to life.... Regardless, I hope he gets his life on track and realizes he's got a second chance to do right.

Because so many people were jumping off it they put up a suicide barrier on a bridge in Toronto. Since it's gone up nobody has jumped off the bridge.14565ec743cca4aecc35da7d9407.jpeg

^Yeah man. This kind of thing is no laughing matter. They glamorize poker way too much in the media, but this kind of thing is the reality of a life of heavy gambling.

Well, being from NY, i actually know this guy, played a couple of tournaments with him at foxwoods, AC .... played at the same table as him, right after a couple of his Big Scores.... Actually was pretty level headed and didnt have an ego.... nice guy and funny.... surprised he went down that road, but i guess everyone has a breaking point.... hopefully everything works out for him

he is so close to all the beautiful bridges that connect manhattan to queens, brooklyn and new jersey and he goes and jumps off of this one? its hard to feel anything for somebody with such poor taste.

He probably felth this bridge gave him the best odds of surviving haha, that's a poker players mind right there. To be honest this is just like people threatening to kill themselves, if you wanna kill yourself there's nothing stopping you, if you wanna whine about it you wanna be stopped and helped.
