I'd hate to be driving down here...I ride bike.Hey, Serge...not sure if you remember, but I was one of the people at the first FCP Toronto thing at the Charlotte Room about 5 years back...Perhaps you recall the first hand dealt (by you, I think) was AA vs AA AIPF, me vs that cute Asian woman who came out...

I drive down everyday. I am at University/Dundas. I can't stand the smell of BO during the summer months on the subway.

on a side note, I'd probably be interested if we made an EPL pool and incorporated gambling in some form. I can't bring myself to get interested if there is no money involved, especially considering I don't know anything about the EPL, and following it is difficult.

Somebody smart would have to figure out a fair way to do a pool. 1 team per person wouldn't work because only a few teams really have a legit chance to win, as far as I know.

Pretty much;Man U / ChelseaArsenal / Man CityLiverpool / TottenhamUnwashed massesRelegation fodderA AHL/FCHL style keeper could be interesting but there's way too much inter-league transfers to be fair.

Last year some people were involved in a Points Per Month pool. Winner take all, where All = whatever amount you decide on (we did $5, but it can be more). If people want to develop a more complicated gamble, you'd probably have to do a head-to-head thing with others who want to gamble. For Gamblers:Monthly Points (tracked by the site) > whatever amoutn per month per person you decideHead-to-head > Not sure how this might work, but I suppose someone could set up a schedule along the lines of, for example, if there were 8 people, then you'd play each other however many times over the course of the season (38 matches) and the results would be based on which team generated more points that match week. Keep in mind that match weeks get staggered, in that some (real) teams might play two matches in a week and others none (this is to accomdate competition schedules outside the EPL, such as Champions League, FA Cup, etc, for which points are NOT generated), so it all depends on who is on your squad. As previously mentioned, I will probably not gamble (unless it is quite low stakes) and I won't police or organize it, but I strongly recommend it if it motivates people to join.
