dillingerfreak 0
So my deepest run ever in the 1/4 million today. Was chipleader with about 900 people left, and managed to stay healthy stacked until about 200 people left. Then made a mean come back, and with about 30 people left this hand came up. I had just doubled up the hand before. This is the hand that killed my chances of taking it down. Other than that pretty stoked with my performance. Satted into it from a $2 tourney.
JustLikeNegs 1
other than your overbet on the flop. the guy made a turrrible call on the flop and got there. nothing to worry about. ul
FARGOpokerND 22
This looks to me like more an excuse to post a 'bad beat' so instead of giving you advice (since it was fine preflop and you KNOW that) I will just say unlucky.Unlucky

So congrats on staying level headed.

Mercury69 3
Nice run (ie: thinly veiled brag/bad beat post...nice!)...However...while your PF bet was not technically a min raise, it was definitely TOO SMALL, imo. With 280K in the pot already, which indicates you have an M of just under 7, SHOVE THE STACK. You're just asking for a suckout.

Mercury69 3
this is pretty bad adviceI calc'd the M incorrectly. There's 240K and Hero has an M of 8. How is it a bad play to shove that from the cut off?FTR, I'm just wondering if TrueAce is just trying to wind me up...

How is it a bad play to shove that from the cut off?FTR, I'm just wondering if TrueAce is just trying to wind me up...It's 10 minute levels. The shove-level M is more around 4-6 than 7-8. Raise/calling a shove is optimal.

Or Hero should have folded BECAUSE he was likely to get called? Option 2 doesn't make much sense because isn't it pretty standard to shove AQ from cutoff regardless? Or is it because Hero is at the FT and should hope to get a better hand in the orbit?
HighwayStar 8
this is pretty bad adviceRaise/fold here right?
TrueAce13 18
when talking about the advice, i shove is definitely a good play...all i read was that "raise size was toooo small or w/e)But we can definitely raise/call here as well

Or is it because Hero is at the FT and should hope to get a better hand in the orbit? There's no way you're this stupid. At no point did I say fold. In 10 minute levels, the stack sizes are going to be lower in relation to blinds, so EVERYONE'S M range goes down. Kind of like how normally the "need to shove range" is 10 BBs but in Turbos its 5?We're also raising without shoving here in order to induce a weak resteal by villain. He's also not at the FT. He says that in the OP.How do you get through your day without getting hit by a bus?

Biff Goods 0
There's no way you're this stupid. How do you get through your day without getting hit by a bus?New sig...and yes 2.5x is only standard w/o antes. standard moves up to 3x with antes.

SuperJon 175
I 2.5x it or even smaller with antes ...... i suck tho :/Yeah I go around a little smaller than 2.5 with antes. It's also obviously really dependent on how the people behind you are playing.
FARGOpokerND 22
Where the fuck are you people getting this "3x is standard with antes" bullshit? It is most definitely NOT standard. You are just as able to get away going 2.3-2.7x as 3x.I'll hardly ever be making it more than 2.5x in this spot.
