Babying 613
My team finally plays tomorrow, against the team that asked me to leave them a few seasons ago, because they were "going in a different direction". LOL. Hope I destroy their soul and injure their ******* captain who kicked me off their DIVISION 10 MEN'S LEAGUE team via text message.Wow. I can't believe he did that to you. Zach6668 513
Zach. After a lot of thinking I made a decision that is not in your favor. I will ask you to step down from the weasels for this winter season. I will be doing some major changes to the team for the few upcoming season starting this season. Nothing personal against you. I am trying to rebuild this team in a different way. Thanks for all the seasons you gave us and good luck with the turtles. I can call you if you want to talk more about it.Minh
MapleLeafpoker 1,462
He probably read your tweets and figured you weren't 100% committed to the team.Look at it this way, your like the Richards+Carter of Division 10.

Babying 613
Zach, what he is saying is that you suck or you are a goon to the team. That is the message I got from the text.
fryer98 30
MeOld age = hands of steelI refuse to think this way! Also, my hands miss the 2 hours of ice time per week while coaching where I would just skate around and shoot on the 12 year old goalies.
Zach6668 513
Lol, this is before Twitter. The Ninja Turtles are my current team, the one I organize. I had it going for a season or two, playing both teams, before this. It used to have about 6 or 7 guys on each team, now the only crossover is their goalie, who plays D for us. Ottawa Biatch used to play on both, but is now just on the Turtles.

Had some PIMs too, but not that huge of a deal, I didn't think. I dunno. Weird dude.

Weird dude.Damn you organize a team. That is alot of work. I use to do that for 7-8 years. The softball team I play on, the captain always talks about overhauling the team. In other words, getting rid of the guys who suck. For some reason, he still wants me on the team.
Dubey 1,035
hahaha, that text message reads a whole lot funnier in the context that Zach had pet turtles.it is still downright Bizarre, and I knew about the 'turtles'
fryer98 30
Damn you organize a team. That is alot of work. I use to do that for 7-8 years.I ran a team for 4-5 years. It's amazing to me how many "adults" can't understand that they need to bring their $130-160 to the first game to play on the team. And no, you can't pay me $10-15 per game for the season because I HAVE TO PAY AT THE START OF THE SEASON!I will never run a team again.

For some reason, he still wants me on the team.Doesn't seem too difficult. We have a good group. My policy is that we're all here for fun, so I don't try to get anyone off the team. We have a tiny bit of turnover, maybe 1-2 guys per season, at the most. But that's just stuff happening in other people's lives. We have a really good group right now. No real puck hogs, no real awful players, etc. Good guys to play with. We have 8 forwards, and 4 d-men if we're all there (and guys rarely miss games), and pretty much any combination of the forwards make a solid line. Really good team. No surprise we're off to a 4-0 start, scoring 20 goals and only allowing 5. We got promoted a division starting tomorrow, though. Bleh.
Zach6668 513
So, I scored an unreal goal tonight. Danced their best d-man, and then dangled the goalie and tucked it in on the forehand. So I do the Jagr salute as we celebrate the goal that makes it 1-0. I get to the bench to change, and I look back and their trying to get the faceoff in the offensive zone. I'm like wtf?Apparently the goalie knocked the net off an inch sliding across while I deked him out of his crease, so they rule the goal doesn't count. Absolutely horseshit call. But, nonetheless, I did the Jagr salute, so there.

I picked up 2 pairs of gloves (Mike Van Ryn and I think Tlusty) for $25 each. Now it is way overpriced. There is a lineup and people get escorted to the Leafs dressing room. Yes the sale is in the dressing room. That alone is worth it. I think something like Dion gloves or skates run for at least $250.
Zach6668 513
Any doctors in the house?Played a game last night, half-way through the 1st half, I block a pass at center, and get a breakaway from the right side. I'm at my absolute top speed (which is probably faster than you'd think, looking at my size). I get in, snipe the top corner from in tight, and simultaneously the d-man dives and hacks my legs out from under me.I barrel into the boards at a million miles an hour, taking almost all of the impact in my right shoulder.I bounced back up and just skated directly to the bench. Sat down for a minute then went to the dressing room because I thought I might puke because of the pain. Managed to avoid doing that, so went back out. Took one shift and I couldn't shoot the puck, so I took the rest of the game off.I think it got worse last night when I got home, and find a position to sleep was the hardest thing every, without any pain.So anyways, doctors, do I need to go to a clinic or emerge or can I just walk this one off like I usually do? Zach6668 513
Ugh, if I'm reading WebMD correctly, I think I probably have a low-grade separation. This is gay, I hate going to the doctor.
mrdannyg 274
Completely non-medical opinion, my first thought was separated shoulder.Go to a doctor (or emerg, blah), get that shit set right.
