Pot Odds RAC 23
Only your driving privileges are suspended, not the identification. It isn't like they do a check on the license when you hand it to the agent. They use it to verify the name with the name on the boarding pass and picture with your face. My gut instinct is that an expired license is a second class citizen in the airports eyes as well, at very lease it's worth a call to the airline or the airport.

LongLiveYorke 38
I once had a friend ask me if it was okay to use an expired driver's license as ID when getting into a bar.I asked her if the fact that the license expired changed whether or not she was born on the birthday as indicated by her license. CaneBrain 95
I was able to fly to Vegas and back with an expired license. However, I was not allowed to get a cash advance off my credit card with an expired license. So, there you go.
Jeepster80125 0
I think it should be clear that this guy has a perfectly legal, non-expired identification, which is a drivers license. I think. For whatever reason, his driving privileges have been revoked. I think. The question is whether the act of suspending the right to drive will impact the ability to board a plane. Since driving rights have nothing to do with travel, the answer is no. Assuming you can provide legal non expired photo id or whatever the airline requires, you'll be fine. If you had a passport then you wouldn't have to worry about it.Or something.edit I once had a friend ask me if it was okay to use an expired driver's license as ID when getting into a bar.I asked her if the fact that the license expired changed whether or not she was born on the birthday as indicated by her license.I think the issue is that when a license expires, it's no longer a valid form of identification. That's something that bars use to prevent people from entering. If the goal is to see the birthdate, an expired id is fine. If the requirement is legal photo id, then an expired id won't work if the person requesting the id is an asshole.
TraptSteve 0
There was a slim chance my license could have been suspended due to sr-22 complications leading up to my trip(state stopped accepting payments). Wanted to check to see if it mattered if the license was suspended. My driving license is current not suspended.
CardWarfare 4
I once had a friend ask me if it was okay to use an expired driver's license as ID when getting into a bar.I asked her if the fact that the license expired changed whether or not she was born on the birthday as indicated by her license. When I first turned 21 I was waiting for my new license to come in the mail, and in the process drinking everything I could get my hands on, anywhere I could find it, as frequently as possible. I was turned down at 3 bars due to my license being expired the day before. I talked to a bouncer friend who said that it's more apt to happen at the kind of places I was going where there's a lot of underage kids trying to get in with their older siblings/friends/relatives old license. Golden 2
When I was a bouncer, every place I worked at had a strict policy against expired licenses. Something in the law stated that if anyone was let in on an expired license the place could be in big trouble. There are a lot of people who save their old expired licenses and let other, underage people use them.
