Daniel your a golfer right so what did you think when Annika Sorenstam played in a PGA event. Were you against that?I have been a golfer since I can remember and supported her choice to play, and was proud to watch her almost succeed in making the cut. By the way which event is the men's only event. I must be blind or there appears to not be one. So we are supposed to allow the ladies to have their own event why because they are female? A lot of you are dumb. It attracts newer female players to the biggest series in the world. If some women don't like playing in it, so be it. But it's not going to be changed any time soon. Also, hearing Annie Duke saying that makes me want to puke in my mouth. She might be the worst, not the best.

It really would be beautiful to see 100 tables of blacks!...I'd like to see Shaun Deeb play that one in blackface.

maybe a battle of the sexes tournament? women sign up to play on one half, men the other half. the two winners meet heads up to finish it for a trophy/bracelet/whatever. cap it at 1500 per side so they finish at about the same time.

Hi Daniel/FCP, I’ve read both sides of this issue and while both have their points, I have an interesting solution to it. Why not have both a ladies and mens tournament running at the same time then the final winners of each tournament square off in a heads up battle for a real WSOP bracelet with the recognition of who played better poker in the tournament…men or the ladies…what do you think of this?

WSOP is a bussiness thats what you guys are missing they have the right to have any events they please.Plus the ladies event attracted 1k+ women from around the world to ante up buy in plus vig,which =$ for Harras.Plus out of those 1k women they also play some other events play slots in casino go for dinners etc..etc..Now if the shut down the event theyll prob lose 50-60% of those women which = a bad bussiness decsion for the wsop.Also use common sense please, its called a ladies event and the braclet and points don't count do you guys really care that much that you want it dismantled just seems rather petty and pathetic that just beacuse an event was women only or seniors or employes only that you some how feel there discriminating against men Lol.So I guess you feel the TOC is discriminating against non wsop champions right? NO its called T.O.C its called Ladies event for a reason. Also anybody making the anolgy of blacks and asian only events being the same thing is way off base. Also in regards to Annie Duke I heard somewhere that she teaches a acadmey at the wpt for women only, seems slightly contradictroy to say the least.

More people from these certain demographics/gender/race/whatever would enter making you even more money. Now, once people ignorant enough to say that's "unfair" decide to enter it, numbers drop costing you money. I guess I can't convince my point enough, but no one will EVER prove to me otherwise either.

I don't care what the WSOP does. I don't care if they keep the event or not. I just hate the inconsistency from people being offended or not offended. Either you should be offended by segregation like this, or you shouldn't, but you don't get to pick and choose because one seems worse than the other. But if they were to add a Blacks only event, all hell would break loose. That's retarded.

I met Kathy Liebert at the NAPC WPT event and talked with her she made the final table, awesome person to talk poker to and with. She been to many WPT final tables and knows how to play. Vanessa and Liv will get there, Annie maybe 2nd on that list but attitude wise she sucks big time. there's pictures of Kathy and I, and Vanessa as well as Annette from that event on my face book page kobe and a few others seen them.

I haven't been around for a couple days and just got caught up on this Annie vs Daniel thing.All I have to say about it is the original argument wasn't about whether Annie is the best woman player in the world or not, it was about the women's only event at the wsop. Yeah Annie shouldn't classify herself as "the best" on her website, but that has nothing to do with the women's event argument, it is a separate issue. Daniel needs to decide which issue he is going to argue about, not group all his issues together. It is coming off as a straight up personal attack.
