I don't think he did coke. I'm not saying he isn't a cokehead, but everyone knows what he is trying to do, I wouldn't be suprised if people arent following him into the bathroom to see if any powder is going up his nose. He'd have to be pretty sneaky. What he is doing has to be torture. I think he feels he has a need to make a hour mark that he thinks nobody will attempt. If it was all about charity he would just donate the money instead of putting himself through this.

I didn't want to be the first to suggest it, but I would not be surprised. I would really hope not, but I just don't see how it is possible without it and being as coherent as he seems. If he trained for this for 6 months as someone else posted, then I would see how it is possible. Look at David Blaine and Cris Angel. My good friend's brother was a coke head and he claims he went on a 12 day binge with no sleep. He was on the needle though.
Think he's taking a before and after drug test.

Math is hard$29.42 goes into $3383 ...... 115 timesLAS VEGAS, Nevada (AFP) – Poker star Phil Laak halted the longest poker game in history at 115 hours early Monday, nearly two days longer than the current mark recognized as the official world record."Wow, 115 hours, I should have my head examined," said Laak, as the number appeared on the running clock on a laptop screen next to his seat at the Bellagio Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas. "I am definitely sick."The 37-year-old pro began playing at 12:00 pm local time last Wednesday at the famous resort and quit at 7:00 am on Monday saying he still felt fine but didn't want to "do any more damage to my body than necessary."He was permitted a five-minute break for every hour he played and could bank those for longer breaks. While he vowed he did not consume any caffeine or stimulants, he did manage at least one 30-minute nap.Paperwork and video evidence to document Laak's feat is expected to be submitted this month to Guinness World Records, but it was witnessed live via a webcam by more than 130,000 people each day from more than 90 nations. The previous official record, 72 hours and 2 minutes, was held by Larry Olmsted set at the Foxwood casino in 2004, but in poker circles the unofficial record -- not sanctioned by Guinness but still part of lore -- is Londoner Paul Zimbler's 78 hour, 45 minute stint last September.Laak is the boyfriend of Academy Award nominee Jennifer Tilly, an actress who in recent years has also become a poker professional.Laak promised to donate half his 6,766 dollars in winnings to Camp Sunshine, a Maine camp for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. In addition, visitors to his blog, Twitter site and the webcam feed were encouraged to donate to the cause via text message.

I would set the over/under at 15 hours.
Nice line set. I was going to say under, then checked his Twitter. Actual Sleep time 12 Hours give or take a few mins.
Woke up - had 2 bowls of cereal, then as an after thought had a ham sandwich. Thinking about going to play some 10/20 at the Bellagio.9 minutes ago via Twitter for BlackBerry®

You should know by now that in the world of TV poker, terms such professional and amateur mean nothing.

Meh. At least she has more WSOP Bracelets than Phil. Heck she has more WSOP Bracelets, cashes, and total live tournament winnings than fellow "Pro" Tiffany Michelle.

Yea, but from a poker perspective..he set a goal to play a lot of poker. Not win the most.and when does he pick to do it?During the biggest tournaments of the year.Poker Player #1: So what's your goal for this year's WSOP?PP #2: I'm going to see if I can win a bracelet, then make bank in the cash games.PP#3: I'm going to try to satellite into the $50,000 HORSE, and all the $10,000 championship tournamentsPP#4: I'm going to see if I can stay awake for 4 days straight while I don't lose very much money, then be wiped out for a week so that I miss a third of the WSOP.PP#1: Uhhh, okayPP#4: No, you don't get it, then I will get a 1/10th page listing in a large book called the Guinness Book of Records. You will find it in the clearance section of most bookstores.PP#1: Have fun.

16 hours 4-tabling Rush with essentially no breaks > 132 hours of live poker w/ 5 minute breaks per hour ?(~13k hands vs ~3.3k hands)

Camp Sunshine made several thousand off of it, Unabomber Poker site probably got a few new sign ups, Bellagio had some visitors come thru because of it, but basically a big publicity stunt. Camp Sunshine was the biggest winner, followed by Phil's ego / crazy image.

that's pretty crazy but I don't think he should have been allowed to sleep at one point for 30 minutes. To me at least, it lessens what he did in staying up for so long while playing poker.
