I'm heading down to Vegas from June 7-14 - partly for a tradeshow (high end video gear) and partly for the world series. The missus is coming too and she's not really a big hotel type of person. I've convinced her to stay at the Rio for the first few days but she wants to move to a boutique hotel for the last four or five days.She found a place called the Artisan Hotel. From tripadvisor she found the reviews to be all over the place. Some proclaimed it the best little hotel in town - some called it the worst. Has anyone been there? From the price I am really skeptical ($20 a night) but the photos and description are very appealing.If you've been an hated it other suggestions are more than welcomed.

$20 a night scares me more than Bill's parking lot at nightLocation is everything in Vegas. If you are near the strip you have to pay, if you are not, then you should ask some locals which neighborhoods are safe....er

Never even heard of it, but there is basically nothing over in that area. It's just highway and a strip of Sahara that seems like highway. So hopefully you have a car.

Maybe the lesson here is this:How much do you want to bet that sites that offer reviews for various types of things are using a viral review process to enhance status. That is to say, I'll bet you there are tons of planted reviews for anything that gets reviewed.

Topless pool?Then call the Wynn directly get the best deal you can, and experience the best. I am NOT the type of guy to throw away $ on a room that I plan to use primarily for detox time.I think I blinked twice in three days and regret having lost those milliseconds....plus now that my wife has enjoyed the Wynn, she is keen to return to Vegas anytime I suggest it.
