Fulltiltpoker Withdrawal Declined

Recommended Posts

I went to make a withdrawal using the banktransfer method I have for a while now. It was instantly declined. I haven't been able to deposit on stars for a couple of months now, but fulltilt withdrawals were making it my account in 2-3 days. Wondering if anyone else was having a problem. My bank, UIGEA, grandjury, or a combination? I use a smaller credit union in the area for my banking. Anyone have a bigger nationwide bank that works for poker sites? This is on top of an email I got from the scumbags at AP, offering an instant 25% bonus with any deposit. This isn't their usual reload, it's credited instantly. I of course wouldn't put it past them to know we were going to start having bank problems again, and wanted people to put money back on there, knowing we couldn't get it off.Edit: Now that I look, I don't even have a paper check option.

I think the AP situation is separate from any specific issues around withdrawals. The fiasco of their security holes that was recently revealed I'm sure has hurt them and they're trying to do anything they can to get more business. In the online casino and poker business it's all about getting deposits for stand alone sites. They know that historically x% of money deposited turns into revenue for them and they need to have a continuous flow of new deposits to keep things churning.A skin on a network that is smaller cares more about rake generation than deposits since they can leech off of other sites on the network who market and get a lot of new depositors. That being said nobody really knows for sure what is going to happen over the next months for poker sites and American transactions. My guess is that there will be periods where sites are going to struggle getting people money while they juggle processors. My suggestion to anybody playing online poker is to not have money that you need for real life expenses tied up on sites. If you do though try and give yourself as much lead time as possible to get your money when you need it.

Hello George Jung, Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support. We are happy to inform you that your withdrawal for $xxx.00 has now been processed to your bank account. Please note that withdrawals are typically processed within 48 hours. Due to some technical issue your previous withdrawal request for the sum of $xxx.00 was declined. If you wish to receive a check sent to your home address, please email us back to confirm your intention and we will follow up with the requirements we need to proceed with your request. If there's anything else we can help you with, please let us know. We're always here to help. Regards, FouadFull Tilt Poker SupportNot sure what the requirements for requesting a check are, but I guess the echeck rejection was a glitch. Curious to see how long it will take to process. Thanks for the insight Bob.

I know people who aren't Canadian residents who visit here on a regular basis who have Canadian Savings accounts but weren't able to open checking accounts. I don't know if that was a bank specific policy or across all banks.

There are certain US banks which are already not accepting transfers they feel might be from entities related to gambling institutions. If full tilt finds out about a bank like this, they decline your withdrawl before sending it to the processor to save you time and them fees and annoyance. Just request a check.

I thought that may have been a problem since stars didn't take my deposit for the WCOOP reload bonuses. FTP put mine through ok the second time. I don't even have the check option when I pull up to pick a withdrawal method.

Would renting a room in Canada for a few months, opening a bank account and then transferring the address of that account to where you actually live, work? When I lived in Canada for a few months, I was able to open an account, but alas I closed it when I left and didn't do online banking either. Would have been neat to keep the overseas bank account.
