MaxStPolish 4
Was chip leader from about 100players on to about 16 left when i got table changed to the other table and things got a bit dicey. Held a thin lead still (compared to the 2x lead on 2nd place I had from like 35-18 players left!). Then got table changed back to my old table, where my table captain hat was waiting for me. I started rebuffing my stack.JUST lost chip leader status for teh first time with 10 left (had it since like 100 players!!!!)5 buck PLO/8FTP #160435086243 playersthree hundred and fifteen american dollars to the win. MaxStPolish 4
What a friggen situation. Grind my way from 4/4 to a HU battle, take a 7:5 chip lead. Then guy's internet goes out.Someone tell me what proper etiquette is here? In my SnG and HU games I just punish 'em. But in a MTT HU, like I had no clue what to do, so i shove-botted him. He came back with 1 blind left. He was legit about it.As such when I eventually took him down, I made 315, he made 200. I shipped him 20 as a show of good faith, that it sucks that he lost the internet. I thought it was a nice gesture. I know I'd be tilted too if I lost my internet after getting past 241 guys to get to heads up play. The fact that he didn't reconnect with a "FU" or anything like that made the transfer easy. That said what is etiquette here. Do I timebank to let him reconnnect. I really was like a deer in the headlights on this one.

slink 1
I was railing you. It's cool that you flipped him a 20. But I do it the same way you did! Shove-bot.

Ko8e34 0
Yeah what tyler said, i mean it's not your fault his internet timed out. If you're playing against someone you know you obv time bank any time you can or just even chop it after the trny is over if they are a friend or go by chip equity when they timed out. Nice thing of you to do and congrats on the win!
GWCGWC 83
I wouldn't have done that. Congrats on the win! PLO H/L hurts to think about. Giving him $20 is what I mean I wouldn't have done. That was a little too nice even for me.

MaxStPolish 4
Thx guys!!And thx for affirmation. I was pretty sure i had no choice but to blind the guy. I'm just one of those golden rule kind of people. It actually pained me to blind him out a little bit. I think the 20 bucks (in retrospect based on payouts would have probably done more like 10-15, esp since I was gonna run him anyways ) was a fair gesture, that was in line with my golden rule way of life.Good luck on your sundays all. I was gonna try and satty into the MFTOP ME today, but after playing last night and hawks game at 2, I'm busy! Go hawks!

FARGOpokerND 22
Agree with what people said. Blinding them down is fine. Shipping the $20 is a very good gesture though, and I hope it leads to continued run-good.

MaxStPolish 4
I'm folding this hand all day, but admittedly I suck at playing marginal hands in plo8. if anyone who knows the game well could go through why they do something different please do so.also congratsA fold here is plenty good. I limp in only because BB (other big stack) is very passive and I feel I can get away with a flop steal bet without worry of being raised wide-ranged. And every once in a while I skull **** the flop All that said, this is a fold against a BB with any sort of cred in my book. Why don't you change your title to "Lenny = White; Carl = Black" instead of having it as your "from?"Can I? Plz advise and I will.Congrats! Love the Summer Shandy reference!Drinking two more as we speak. A few days ago my garage door opener stopped working. Today my lawnmower just crapped out.....so I sit here in my partially cut backyard, deferring to the computer and a few more shandies. They are the most +EV thing about summer.
