"Bashing" a team who has lost 8 straight is not trolling, it's pure fact. If people are trolling, and people actually have a problem with it, bring it to our attention. I'll say Dev is close, but just saying that you're happy about a team losing in ONE post is not trolling. Writing it numerous times, or every single day, etc, that gets closer. The tone and content is important too. Certain posters choose to ignore facts when they bash certain teams, so a certain thread was created for his specific fantasy views. In all of the recent posts Dev has made in the Caps or Flyers threads, he has done nothing but posts facts, then reasonable opinions about them, IMHO. It has nothing to do with what team I happen to be a fan of.There's also a difference between what Serge does and what other people might do, but he has an understanding with the mods. If he wasn't friends with all of us, he'd have just simply been banned from the forum years ago. So let's not talk about double standards, because there is one, but it benefits Serge.Biatch, I know you're a smart person, you can figure out what's going on here. With the way you post, it's always a coin flip between whether you're actually being serious or not. This is the last time I post about this. Maybe we need one for the regular season as well. Leave bashing to bashing threads and leave team discussion to the team threads.That doesn't mean negative discussion about a team shouldn't be in the team thread.For example saying "wow Ovechkin and Green really seem to be sucking on offense the last month" when discussing the Caps losing streak nobody should have a problem with.Coming into the Caps thread and saying "woohoo 8 in a row, I hope they keep it up" is annoying. I think it's likely that this team is going to be better in the long run because of this losing streak but I'm still going to try to enjoy every second of it.So bottom line is that I guess I'll cool it a bit but I really feel like we're a little too sensitive around here. Which Im not so sure they need/want.I agree, they are really deep, and pretty much stacked everywhere.Goaltending was the real pre-season weakness, but Bobrovsky has surprised, and they seem to remain confident enough in Leighton/Boucher.
