so, i got a good bad beat story...good meaning it turned out good for me...pocket AA's in MP, utg raises to 15 (a smallish raise in this game, either means he has a monster or just wants to beef up the pot), utg + 2 calls, I re-raise to $55, everyone else folds, utg and utg +2 calls.pot is now $172flop comes K K 4, no flush drawutg checksutg + 2 bets $20 (i know exactly what his bet is, he's trying to rep a king, but doesnt want to risk anything - he's a really bad player, and playing with him for a while now, i dont know how he stays in the game, lol)hero raises to $60 (weak too, almost as bad as the previous bet, i knowutg calls $60 (i'm scared now after he calls, cause he either has a K, or QQ)turn comes an Acebingo!!!utg checkshero goes all in for 200 (utg's remaning stack)utg instacalls and turns over KKno case ace on the river and i lose the $700 pot....=(BUT,I win the bad beat jackpot! I get 50% of the jackpot, utg gets 25%, and the rest of the table split 25%. the jackpot was 5000, so i actually got 2500. Minus the 100 tip to the dealer (they keep their own tips here, and that's all they make, no hrly since it's a underground club) and what i lost in the pot (315), i actually made 2085.

At my 1/2 game I play at, the bad beat is more like 100,000 (pretty big casino). I had KK on a KKh Qh 7 board and someone called my all in bet on the turn with AJhh. The 10h would have made me about a 50,000 dollar winner:( Alas, I wasn't that lucky.

Couple weeks ago I shipped pf with AA v. KK. $500ish pot and I ask the guy with KK if he would like to run three full boards, he agrees. First board: K K x x xSecond and Third boards: x x x x xI win 2/3rds! Dodged a bullet there

I thought that looked familiar, didn't you say the guy wouldn't give you 2/3 of the pot or something cuz they argued that the last two runs were just the turn or river? (Was at some home game) I might have the wrong situation, but it looks very familiar.

two different situations1st situation I had KK v. AA pf. The guy with AA said "one flop, three turn/river combos." K came out on the flop and I took 100% of the pot after a 5 minute argument about how the boards were run.2nd situation (a week later) I had AA v. KK pf. I offered to run 3X (full boards) and the guy agreed. First board came KK x x x, last two boards were duds and I wont 2/3rds of the pot. Lesson learned: Always run it three times!
