Maybe Balley's. then I've got all my buddies coming to town from the 13th-17th, and we will be in the MGM skylofts. I will either be deep into a main event run and I'll have to mostly ignore them, or I'll be out, and our boy's trip will start. Win-Win! Link to post Share on other sites

The new Jubilee rooms are nice, if you can get the Flamingo "GO ROOMS" for the same price as Ballys go for it. I walked from Ballys to Rio once and it felt like a never ending walk! Poker room is softest on the strip, and quick drink service. I'm pretty sure they also have twice-hourly shuttles to and from the Rio. Link to post Share on other sites

We all got together on Tuesday for drinks, and I basically said "If we are going to have a vegas trip this year, it's going to have to be on these dates, or I won't be able to go" Everyone immediately said they were in and were putting into their calendars/texting their wives/bosses. My one buddy is a firefighter, and he was immediately on the phone trying to get somebody to cover a day or 2 for him, which led to somebody asking where he was, which led to a fire truck pulling up outside the restaurant 10 minutes later because his lieutenant and another guy he works with wanted to meet his buddies. All of this I have mentioned before, but its the Vegas thread and I love to read this thread once a year when Im really bored, so this will be a fun thing to see in the coming years.... Me last year: I'm stopping by Dublin after a work trip to Italy. 2 of my friends: Cool, how many and which days? Me: lol, this isnt Vegas. Its not like you guys show will up. Them: Oh ya? Gonna send you an email. (flight to Dublin booked, they got there before me!) In Dublin one of my friends says that he came pretty much because I said I doubt he would. It was also the first time I ever stayed in a hotel room with 3 single beds side by side. It was like the 3 little pigs room. lol Same thing happened this year. I connected overnight in Minnesota, they drove 16hrs to meet me there to go to a game and go out drinking. Like who the F does that? Nothing like the brotherhood amongst friends. (doesnt hurt that they have pretty cool wives and we've been a group of best friends since we were 14/15years old) 1 Link to post Share on other sites
