Being playing a lot of poker here. Just played my first $100 buy in plo tourney. Ended up with a deal that got me $650.

The Orleans poker room has some great characters. One guy is a golf pro played with all the big poker names. He now works with Sheiky

He has some really cool Ivey stories.

I love live Vegas poker.

Always tough to leave Vegas. Especially with more money than I come with. Good trip overall. I believe I played about 50 hours of poker in 3 days. While the hourly was only $10 an hour , still an ok trip

Lol not really. It was funny flight back from Vegas everyone depressed, broke. Meanwhile I made money.

I Almost resisted "gambling".

Last night 3 am decided to buy in for $30 in a single deck blackjack and test my counting abilities from old days. Didn't go that great but cashed out $40. Then I figured I'll take my $10 profit and play some deuces wild vp. Cashed out $75. Oh and I made 2 sports bets. Going 1-1 and. Losing $2 juice.

I don't enjoy gambling anymore. I can sit at a poker table for 15 hours but playing negative ev house games is boring

I met lot of colorful people at table. Last night at Red Rock I end up playing for 6 hours with two Armenian guys. The one guy commutes from Sochi where he has businesses. Spends 5-6 months there.

I had no idea even with all that Olympics coverage that Sochi has a huge Armenian population. 20 percent of city is Armenian.

So my little drummer boy son is a big ACDC fan, and an even bigger beatles fan.

So on the Thursday of Superbowl weekend, I'm going to tell him I'm going to drive him to school. Instead, I'm driving him to the airport, where we will jump on a plane to Vegas. Thursday night, front row seats for the Love show at Mirage. Friday night, ACDC concert with meet n greet with the band. Saturday morning, helicopter into the grand canyon for sunrise. Saturday afternoon, haven't decided. Saturday night, redeye home.

The hardest part is not telling him in advance.

It's great how music can connect generations.

I saw AC/DC 35 years ago at Maple Leaf Gardens

Sounds like an awesome experience for you two.

Chris, remember when you talked last week about the things you would do if you won Powerball?

Well, this sounds like you making one of them happen with or without a billion dollars.

Anytime this year someone brings up Vegas for Super Bowl weekend, I'll think about the father+son who are flying out the night before the big game.

I respect the way you do things my friend, well done.
