Cardinals and Red Sox

missed it by that much

If you root for St. Louis and you're not from the immediate St. Louis metro area, you're a horrible person.

1 year league or keeper? Seems like Harper is falling in 1 year drafts this year, so you may be able to grab him in round 2. I'd take Hanley I think and try to grab harper on the way back.

1 year league.

i'd love to go hanley, but my main concern is he cannot play a whole season. i'm leaning towards cano, but i'm worried about him leaving the bronx and that short porch.

I'd probably go with Harper simply because I like him the best so it would be fun to follow him day to day, and it's really a coin toss with all 4 of those guys for who will have the best season.

Harper

Hanley

Cano

Braun

But that's just the list of who I like best.

yeah the position scarcity is a big factor. but i'm in line to have jason kipness in the third if i want (based on my 28th pick and his ranking). pedroia is right in that area as well so i feel like as long as i can get one of those two, then i should take braun or harper.

plus, cano's zips projections for this year are not first round fantasy production.

him being in seattle now is the only reason it a question in my mind. braun's zip is the best of all the options and i'm leaning toward him. but i also think i might be able to get him at 13.

baseball is a lot tougher than basketball. i have fantasy basketball on LOCK DOWN.

what's your strat? I'm a fan of loading up on point guards who shoot a lot of 3's and power forwards. You pretty much have to punt shoot % but you're competitive in all other stats and dominate in Assists and rebounds if you do it right.

that is my strategy too. i lead the league in 3's, free throw percentage, assists, A/T ratio and steals every week. i have chris paul, steph curry, and kyrie irving. plus goran dragic, jose calderon, klay thompson, trevor ariza, spencer hawes, channing frye, josh mcroberts, jeff teague, randy foye, kendal marshal and vince carter. only through trades with people who don't know what they're doing is this possible.

Ive decided to go ryan braun at 8 and then joey votto at 13. Safe and sure, i trust them both. Looking at Giancarlo stanton at 28 if he falls and his teammate jose fireball fernandez at 33. Poaitive ill get three of those four, just not sure about stanton.

I definitely like Braun at 8. Votto at 13 is nice, though if you can get Pedroia or Kipnis at 28, I might go there. If not, guess you'll just punt it - with a few guys usually picking up 2B eligibility through the year, it's an underrated position to punt, IMO.

Why take pedroia in the thirdd when you can get zobrist in the 8th? Thats the plan at least. Zobrist is ranked 89 in yahoo leagues and i plan to grab him at 73. Most of my strategy is based on getting him because hr has SS and 2b eligibility, so i can get a SS later or worst case scenario grab anthony rendon at like 153.

Now if at 28, Stanton isnt there and freeman isnt there and joey bats isnt there, then kipnis is getting the nod, still grab zobrist most likely amd be done with 2b and SS. But i might pasd on zobrist and take my man alex Gordon at 73 if i take a SS or 2b before that. Its all fluid.

I really want chris sale at 48, but i dont know if he will last. David price if he doesnt. At 53 im locked into big papi. 68 carlos santana. If all goes to plan i will dominate these fools.

Well, if the people in your league are bad enough that Zobrist is available several rounds later, then yeah, grab Zobrist.
