Man, say what you want about Daniel's poker abilities, but it's pretty crazy saying he isn't marketable.I had never heard of this kid before yesterday. He's so incredibly unlikable, I don't see any way any company could consider him a viable marketing option.

I don't know. I think this series with him would be a huge hit.http://vimeo.com/6518934http://vimeo.com/6519505http://vimeo.com/6520635
I watched the first one and it maybe the worst acting ive ever seen. It would probably be more fun to watch 6 minutes of his normal life than 6 scripted minutes of total bs.

When you all said it was the worst acting you had ever seen, I figured it to just be an exaggeration.Confirmed worst acting ever.
Makes porno stars look Oscar caliber!!!

i dont think he actually said DN wasnt marketable? He simply said that DN said he wasnt, and its clear azd believes that he is just as if not more marketable than DN. Also, if you didnt know who this kid was before yesterday than you must not play poker. Hes a nose bleed legend. AZD clearly comes off like a complete tool and an ******* for his entire blog entry, but I dont think that changes the facts. DN is a pretty big fish against those regs, and they all know it. DN doesnt believe that bc of one reason, his ego.

him thinking he is "just as if not more marketable than DN" is an indefensible position though. I find it interesting that someone could be so good at poker and yet say something that stupid. DN is the centerpiece of the ad campaign of the biggest online poker site. He has been on ESPN for years being made to look like a mind reader as Norman Chad and Lon sang his praises. The people in my life who know nothing of poker know Phil Hellmuth, Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan and DN (and Moneymaker).I agree that DN is a clear dog high stakes NLHE these days but I am not sure that really affects his marketability much.

I think the fact that I am replying right now with a banner ad at the top of the screen with DN's face on it is kinda funny.

First off, his name appears to be ADZ. A minor point, but you have made the same typo about 5 times, suggesting it might be confusion on your part not just a typo (which to me puts his true recognition in question); I am not trying to pick nits, but really if he is going to be so recognizable based on a nickname, I would hope people would actually know what it is. No one on earth (except him) thinks he is more marketable at the moment. he also stated: "Kid poker likes to call me out. He was criticizing me for a show we have in the works, with his usual smart remarks, when many people are super interested in the lifestyle of young gamblers and the highs and lows involved in their lives. Anyways Daniel, I am more marketable than you, I do live a better life off poker and I don't get a free 2 million from PokerStars every year like you do to keep me from going broke (I actually win my money in the game of poker). If I was given all of the confidence and support you were given, to make you feel like the best in the world, which you are nowhere near by the way, I would also be a much better player."ADZ's statements really focus on the marketability issue. He is plainly wrong and it is not remotely debatable. The fact is that he is young, talented and successful. I don't know him and hope he continues to thrive in his life. However, his blog reflects a stunning lack of maturity, and I don't think his age justifies that. I hope that he gains a measure of perspective along the way, cause he certainly has the skills and ability to be a very successful person (and not just a successful poker player). Also, I don't think that many people are all that interested in the lifestyle of wealthy poker players so as to make the show that popular. I mean, I find it interesting, but the general public, or even the poker watching public generally, I don't think his show is that on point.

Never heard of him, despite his alleged marketability.
