dolfan 0
Let's kick this thread off now that the Dolphins traded for Brandon Marshall. We have a real WR! Huzzah! Now, trade Ginn for a ham sandwich and draft some OLBs and a safety. This is tough. I dislike the Broncos as much as any team in the league and I've always thought Marshall was an immature headache who can't stay out of trouble. I can only imagine how many women he's going to fight in the South Beach clubs. But, he's really, really good. I guess it's just one of those cases where you root for a good player and ignore everything else about him. He better stay out of trouble, one more problem and he's suspended for a year. JoeyJoJo 18
Miam?I wouldn't trade Ginn. At the very least he's a very valuable kick returner. Not having to be the #1 receiver might be good for him too.

Not having to be the #1 receiver might be good for him too. That's how all the cool kids say it now.Ginn is cheap so I dont really care if they keep him or not. I see the Dolphins using almost all their picks on D now. NT, OLB and S are the priorities. Chad Henne has to be thrilled.

JoeyJoJo 18
Now, trade Ginn for a ham sandwich and draft some OLBs and a safety. Halfway there. Ginn traded to 49ers for 5th round pick.

CaneBrain 95
Halfway there. Ginn traded to 49ers for 5th round pick.a 5th rounder seems fair for a guy who can't catch and hates contact. I'm amazed we got that much. Good riddance....his welcome was worn out in Miami a long time ago. Maybe a fresh start will be good for him.Miami has a ton of low round picks now.....I would package a few of them and try to get another 3rd rounder.
CaneBrain 95
Love trading down so much. Picking up a high 2nd is huge. Odrick makes sense if he can move inside on passing downs. I would have rather had Kindle or Hughes but Odrick seems like a very safe pick.

The move almost ended up looking brilliant if Dan Williams had lasted two more spots, unless they were never interested in him in the first place.

They loved Odrick since the Senior Bowl so I think they dont mind not getting Williams. If they get Kindle at 40, this will all look very brilliant. Then just draft they best available safety at 73 and all the holes are plugged as good as possible. They have a lot of late round picks to take some projects on too.

CaneBrain 95
This is what I'm hoping for.Well, he was there but they picked Misi instead which tells me they just did not like Kindle that much. Misi had a 2nd round grade so I am cool with it and have to trust that there was something they like about him over Kindle. He fills a need that's for sure.

Because I think Miami has some sort of quotient for those players they have to fill, too.

Because I think Miami has some sort of quotient for those players they have to fill, too.It does seem that way, doesn't it?According to the local papers, Miami has loaded up on guys it liked from the Senior Bowl (which they helped coach so they got some extra time with all of them). Odrick was someone they loved at the Senior Bowl, ditto Misi and the guard they took from Ole Miss.Go with who you know seems like a safe strategy. I really wish they had gotten a safety in the first few rounds though. If they can get Rashad Jones from Georgia at #126, I will be a happy guy.

grocery_mony 8
Saw Run, Ricky Run tonight. Very intresting. Its amazing how when the media turns against someone they can shape everyones perception of the person. He didnt quit the NFL to smoke pot, he quit to get his life on track. You give a guy millions and fame at age 20 when there not developed as a person its gonna **** alot of them up. I am sure there are bigger messes than Ricky was out there but they know how to play the game and all there demons are kept hush until they implode. Deffinatly a bigger RW fan now and wish him well. Ricky is just a weird dude....I enjoyed the documentary although I have heard a lot of that stuff before from LeBatard and others. This will probably be his last year in the NFL.....I hope it is a good one.

JoeyJoJo 18
Channing Crowder on Jason Taylor on Hard Knocks"He's a real pretty boy. He had makeup with 'Dancing with the Stars' and all that, so he might put on makeup," Crowder said. "He's gonna perform. Trust me. You can mark that. JT is not going to be himself. He's gonna perform for the cameras, 'cause he's a showman. That's what I give him a hard time about -- he's going to be as clean as he can, he's gonna have a freshly-shaved head, 'cause the camera is around and he's very womanly."Haha
