We may be witnessing the final few games of one of the best players ever. I hope he decides not to retire because he still has game, but I think he's had enough with the injuries. He's always been one of my favourite players and I think his rookie record for goals is as untouchable as many of Gretzky's records.

Yeah, I'm a HUGE Selanne fan.What an athlete.I remember being in Winnipeg in my childhood and getting a Selanne "signed" poster from Subway or something like that. Was super pumped about it.

I think your also seeing Modano's last few games, and also, Brind'Amour as well. Selanne is probably the one out of these 3 that can still play the game at a very high level, but all 3 at one time in their career were leaders for their teams. Might sound homer-like, but I think Brind'Amour's all around game was/is highly underrated during his prime.

He is almost on a 40-goal pace this year...at 39. Unbelievable. I really hope he doesn't retire, but with Niedermeyer going, and most of the old guard gone, seems unlikely he'll stay.

I have been a fan of Teemu Selanne since him a Paul Karyia were tearing it up in Anaheim. Best 2 man combo in recent NHL history.Watching him play now he could easily play another 1 or 2 more years
