Recommended Posts

So it has been along time since I have been to the boards or posted but I figued someone would have responded to my other post but anyway.I am going to vegas Tue - Sat and staying at the Monte Carlo. I was looking at playing in one of the Bellagio $330 torunaments. Anyone play? How was it? How many people? It has been a few years since I have been. Where do you guys reccommend to play cash games? Any other advice, places to check out, things to do, best casinos for games and deals? Thanks

I had a lot more fun at the smaller casinos. Faster cocktail service and cheaper table limits. Don't eat the buffet at Imperial Palace or the Sahara.

There are several threads with similar questions posted like these which is why you may not have received an immediate response.allvegaspoker.com should answer most of your poker-related questions. For cash games, it depends on what you are looking for. What kinds of games/limits do you play? My poker rooms of choice are always Venetian and Bellagio. I haven't been to Aria's room yet but have heard good things. Not sure about best casinos for games/deals, I would check the web, vegas.com or somewhere could have some of the info you are looking for.

Last time I played at venetian and bellagio and figured I couldn't go wrong with those this time. I will probably play 2-5. I have looked on those sites but was just looking for any insight from anyone that has recently been. Thanks for the response, I'll search and see if i can find any recent posts regarding this too.

I was there last month and the Bellagio changed the daily to a rebuy format I think 2 rebuys max. Not sure if it was just for the week I was there or if this is the new format. The 2010 Wynn Poker Classic is on so depending on your roll you may want to check out the $1000 events. HereAs for the cash games I like to play at the Flamingo and Ballys because of the high hand jackpots and the $100 if your aces are cracked.

I went for my 21st birthday (bbbrrraaaggg)First rule: Always have another free drink when the cocktail waitress asks. For me, about a bottle of Crown Royal everyday for free.Other than that, check out Paris. They do tourneys around the clock that start every so often. Mine were like $50 and all had about 3 or 4 tables in. Super soft field. Won my first, then cashed in like 75% of them. Also, Golden Nugget had a $60 1R1A that had like 30 people in it. Again, VERY juicy field.Other than that, have a f uc king blast man. Ballys was a decent hotel, which was fine for me for my 3 hour sleep sessions. GLGLGL

My experience with all the daily tourneys is that they are crapshoots, especially the cheap ones. My favorite daily tourney is the 7pm Caesers tourney.

I think Paris closed their room.
