Acesgotcracked 0
Because if i'm right he folds and I win the $150, if i'm wrong he moves over the top or calls and takes my whole stack. Also, I could barely make it a full raise at that point. I would of been slightly larger than a min raise, if he has anything that would beat me he would be hardpressed to lay it down because of all the money in there and him only having to call 175 or so more.I really dont get why you guys are trying to avoid showing this hand down. If i'm right my call down puts some fear into my opponents about bluffing me in future pots. I'm known as a somewhat tight player in the clubs I go to. Raising the river is a situation that involves risk but absolutely no reward. If I raise and am right, he folds. If i'm wrong I lose more than necessary.Everyone keeps saying if your confident raise. Yeah i'm confident in my read, but no one can be 100% sure unless he shows it to you, when I called on the river I was about 95% sure that I had the best hand.
Acesgotcracked 0
as I said he should have value raised at the end if he was very sureExactly what value do I get by raising, do I win more money if he mucks his hand? Makes no sense.
