I will pay for a non yahoo league that was earlier talked about or some kind of keeper league but I dropped out of 3 out of 4 yahoo leagues this season because I just don't enjoy them that much. At least thats its for me.If WE set up a baseball pool on yahoo, and get just us and put some money on the line, I imagine it would be like Adam's yahoo pool. To me, yahoo is just the place we use to track the stats.Id join if its mostly us from the hockey forum. btw...why do we have to be 20 guys? whats wrong with 10/12/14? Speed Limit 0
I would be in if this is the only thing we're going to do as far as baseball is concerned this year, if we get that keeper league rolling somehow I'd probably join that one only. If this becomes the keeper league, obviously I'll be in.
mrdannyg 274
I'd be in for this one too. I only don't like Yahoo pools for the reasons Arp said.Actually, from now on everyone can just assume I agree with Arp. No point in me always pointing that out. He is a handsome genius.I'd also much prefer to get something 'better' going. Not sure if I have the head for it right now, but I'll try to draft up something tangible. To me, yahoo is just the place we use to track the stats.Id join if its mostly us from the hockey forum. btw...why do we have to be 20 guys? whats wrong with 10/12/14?Well I said I dropped out of 3 leagues. They weren't public leagues since those don't reoccur each year. I knew everyone I was playing with in RL or on the interwebs. I stayed in one league because it's a fun, non serious, no $ league and my wife is even in it so it can be fun to go against her. I blame the FCHL for changing my views on the yahoo style of fantasy sports. I now prefer to be in keeper leagues at the minimum because I enjoy the "GM" part more than just fielding a team and adding/dropping players every other day and such. I like thinking a few years ahead and dealing with salaries than making sure I have a decent catcher this week. So for a basic yahoo league, just not worth the money. I am willing to spend the money and contribute my time for the original intention of this topic. Also, 20 players is way too much to be enjoyable.Make it a keeper league that starts off this project and transfers to our teams next season once we lay everything down, then again, I would go for it. But if there is no keeper aspect then, meh.*shrug*Nothing against you guys, love playing with you all, but $ or not I would get bored with a plain old league and even though it would be free $ for you all, I would probably get bored and stop working on my team which we all know sucks being in leagues where that happens. MapleLeafpoker 1,462
fair enough. Im in agreement with most of what you said, I just liked the idea of a baseball pool amongst us.Why dont like 3 people become the commissioners of this pool, hammer out a format, and then see who else is interested? Dale, Danny, Steve, Serge....Im ok with any of these guys, since they seemed to be the people most willing to decide direction of the pool.

serge 904
i love Dale's idea of a detailed pool..I am just not sure we can get it going in time, baseball starts pretty soon.If we can get it going great..The beauty of yahoo,is everything is handled through them, there is no work..If we can start on there, and grow as we get the rules and stuff going it would be great..IMO

3A 0
I am dissapointed we didn't keep the FCP keeper baseball league going. That being said I'm definitely interested in playing, I play one keeper NL only local league. And I plan to only play 1 online league this year hopefully this one if you end up with a spot. I'm good for anything from free to $50 I ship on pokerstars.I will play any format assuming I get at least a week to prep for the draft knowing the rules, although I would prefer playing in a keeper league.
