mrdannyg 274
I thought once you were gone, you were gone. Except that the two semi-final losers play again for the bronze?
Zach6668 513
I really hope you're not trying to say Fleury is better than Luongo.Like, I know Luongo is good, but he has proven absolutely nothing in games that matter. He's been average at best in those games. This tournament is his proving ground. This is where he proves that he is in fact the elite goalie everyone hopes he is. I have been so unimpressed by him in the past, but I think he's going to come up big in these games. Fleury is far more "experienced" in regard to pressure games than he is, at this point. I think Fleury is a beast, but he's not one that will show up with lower GAA or a better SV%, which makes it completely subjective, compared to Luongo.Do the eliminated hockey teams play any regulation/placement games? Looks like one you're out, you're out?No, Russia is done.
Ottawa_Biatch 288
I thought once you were gone, you were gone. Except that the two semi-final losers play again for the bronze? No, I don't think they even do that, it comes down to goal differential. That's why it was important to run up the score in early games, to make sure you had a shot at the bronze.

Ottawa_Biatch 288
its been like that forever..im pretty sure the bronze medal is based on best goal differential between the remaining teams, bc it doesnt make sense for them to play after losing the semi final. Ottawa_Biatch 288
If it isn't goal differential, and there is no game, there might be judges or something.
Ottawa_Biatch 288
Can somebody plz find the link to how they determine the bronze medal winner? It's bugging me and I can't find it. Maybe for team sports, there is no bronze medal.
