ajs510 122
After watching the Swiss play the trap against the US, I would be shocked if the Canadians can cover 4.5 goals...IMO Switzerland is a MUCH better team than Norway with a MUCH better goalie..It would be really impressive if Canada wins this game large..I dont see it, but I have obviously been wrong before..What do you guys think??I don't think any of these things are a matter of opinion. ajs510 122
Any leans on the US/Norway game in 25 minutes?5.5 goals is too much for the US to be expected to cover more than 60% of the time, but if you took the 7.5 under you should be able to feel good about it. I'm off the game though, don't feel good enough about any of the bets to actually place one. My only action today is on the US Women's game, US to cover and I took the over. GWCGWC 83
Well I don't really know what I'm talking about since I'm just getting into Hockey and all. Canada's first game was really fun to watch. I'm not sure why I thought there would be less checking in the Olympics. Lots of big hits out there. someone hook a brother up and book Canada -4.5 for $30 or less.

Zach6668 513
others might disagree but I think the top 4 Canada, Russia, USA and Sweden are all very close in talent...Each team has its own strengths..Canada has a lot of weapons on offense and very deep..Russia has an amazing top 6 forward unit that is unmatched...USA is very fast and can outskate most opponents, and Sweden is experienced and the defending champs..FWIW i cant watch sports on delay..So i would go with survivor on tape always over a basketball or a hockey game..Here's what I don't understand. You keep saying this. I don't know how it's true.Russia's Top 6:Ovechkin - Datsyuk - SeminAfinogenov - Malkin - KovalchukOvechkin: 89 pts / 54 gpSemin: 65 pts / 53 gpDatsyuk: 49 pts / 59 gpKovalchuk: 63 pts / 55 gpMalkin: 65 pts / 55 gpAfinogenov: 46 pts / 60 gpTop 6 Totals: 377 pts / 336 gp / 1.122 ppg==================I don't know what exactly is defined as Canada's top 6, but here are the same calculations for Canada's top 3 lines:Nash - Crosby - IginlaNash: 57 pts / 63 gpCrosby: 78 pts / 61 gpIginla: 57 pts / 62 gp1st Line Totals: 192 pts / 187 gpStaal - Getzlaf - PerryStaal: 50 pts / 49 gpGetzlaf: 61 pts / 56 gpPerry: 59 pts / 62 gp2nd Line Totals: 170 pts / 167 gpMarleau - Thornton - HeatleyMarleau: 64 pts / 62 gpThornton: 75 pts / 62 gpHeatley: 66 pts / 62 gp3rd Line Totals: 205 pts / 186 gpSo figure out the "top 6" however, you want:1+2: 362 pts / 354 gp / 1.023 ppg1+3: 397 pts / 373 gp / 1.064 ppg2+3: 375 pts / 353 gp / 1.062 ppg===============================It's not very far off at all.Now factor in that one of the three lines above is the Canadian's THIRD line, that makes it even more impressive.Who is on the Russian's 3rd line? The bottom 6 forwards are Radulov, Zaripov, Morozov, Fedorov, Kozlov, and Zinoviev. There are great players there, sure, but a couple are older, washed up former NHLers, one guy who fled for more money, and a couple KHL lifers. They don't match the bottom 6 for Canada, as you have stated. My point, is that given our 3rd scoring line, the 0.06 ppg difference during this NHL season isn't enough to say Russia's top 6 is "unmatched" or distinctly better than Canada's. I'm a little slow. Does your "stars transfer" mean you want me to ship first or that we are using Stars currency? I'm good for it but ok with shipping first if need be. coesillian 0
I see three tiers of teams..Canada,USA,Sweden,RussiaFinland,Czech,SlovakiaGermany,Norway,Belarus,Switzerland,Latvia..I don't think they fit into that group just yet. They are the youngest team in the Olympics and very inexperienced compared to the other Big 3 teams. They belong in the 2nd group.

Ottawa_Biatch 288
Can't f*cking believe GB blew that match against Switzerland there. On tilt. Backing Serge here. I withdrew a decent chunk before after the Russian hockey game. so I'm betting all I have left on this account. Call me stupid, call me crazy, i am the biatch. 1 02/18/2010 USA vs Norway(1st Period Winner) USA 1.22 None To RunRisk: 550.00 To Win: 122.22This is a 3 way bet. So a tie is not a push. 1.22 is bad odds, I know Canada/Norway was 0-0. This is tilt! Let me be!!!! lol.
