It is now becoming common practice for employers to check facebook and other social media on applicants. I think it is a little crazy to do so but sadly many places are starting to do this. If they see the person has a questionable social life they pass on them. So you know if you got photo's of you drunk and partying all the time on your facebook and you don't properly use the security system in place to make it so only friends have access, then it could cost you in getting a job.
