KingJames 11
Happy New Year!Had a pretty good year poker-wise and a really great one IRL.I planned to grind a bunch in 2011, but that didn't end up happening. I got frustrated and took the entire month of February off. Got back after it in March but was forced to stop playing in April. I deposited onto Merge in June and have played recreationally since- I deposited $100 and have run it up from 4nl and made just about $500 profit between playing and bonuses. So I feel pretty good about that after the disastrous start to the year. While the volume was low, I feel really good about the work I put into my game and feel confident going into 2012. I also am proud that I have basically learned to control my tilt, I can quit while stuck now and generally just feel good about the role that poker plays in my life.So here is 2011:That low point just after 35k hands was BF. I was definitely a little complacent and auto-piloting, and while BF def sucks it was good as it made me re-evaluate my game, how poker fit in my life and what I wanted from poker. And in bbs (I suck at 50nl shots/25nl but am good at 10nl):I won at 5bb/100 over 75k hands, which I'm pretty proud of. I won at 1bb in 2010, and while my sample is pretty small I feel pretty good about the improvement. Again I owe much of this to Stupidhead/babylondonks as they took me from being a really awful at poker to being able to really crush the micros. Thanks guys, I really do appreciate it. Here's to beating SSNL in 2012.Live poker (almost all home games) netted me about $800 and rakeback/bonuses came to $500.Coupled with my huge $85 win at online cash games me a total of $1,385IRL I had a great year. I crushed 36 credits at school with a 4.0 GPA. I got into really good shape, made some really great new friends (including a new gf; the first since the ex of many years), and generally just made big strides toward a successful future. I also am involved with Spoolios with a few guys from here at 4bb and I'm super excited to be working with such smart and dedicated people on a project that I believe has unlimited upside. For 2012, I'm very optimistic.Poker goals:180k hands of cash. I definitely plan to play more FR in addition to 6max just to make sure I'm in the best possible games. Hopefully play like 20k hands of PLO as well.I want to make it to Vegas during the WSOP as I went two years ago but didn't make last summer. I mostly want to catch up with friends, but I don't mind a little live grind now and again.Continue to work on my game. I have some videos to catch up on and I just bought BalugaWhale's new e-book and I plan on getting through that here in January.Non poker goals:Work hard on spoolios so that google buys us for a few billi.Find an internship/job for the summer at a small CPA firm. I've already sent out some resumes as I want to get at these people before their busy season really gets going here in January. I will have a 2nd degree in December of 2012 (entrepreneurship, my first was in accounting) and it will be time to start preparing for the CPA exam and finding a real job, so I want to get a good jump on that this summer.Continue crushing school.Stay fit.Be a good person.Good luck, all. QED 4
December goals25k handswin moneyz![ ] 25k hands[x] win moneyz!I ended up a little short on hands because I was playing less tables when I too a shot at 25NL and sick for the last few days of the month so didn't play then. At 10NL I have a pretty consistant win rate and at 25NL a pretty consistant loss rate so I think I might just try and play a lot of volume at 10NL to build up for a proper shot where I don't play like scared money at 25NL.Total Poker: $21.89Bonus etc: $50= $72.89My play was split as rougly 17k hands at 10NL and 6k at 25NL. January goals 50k hands if I play the whole month at 10NLBuild up role a fair amount
SuperJon 175
Nice year, James. My year was great until BF, and then pretty average. Overall, I did finish with a profit, so I guess that's a positive. It's rough when you go from crushing 25nl on Stars to being a slight winner at 4nl on Merge. Knowledge wise, I know I've improved a lot. So just gotta keep on goin.2011 Merge (25nl was a shot at what I thought was a fish playing HU):2011 Stars (Did well everywhere except 50nl and HU):2012 Goals:Keep playingKeep studying and improvingLose more weightTry to improve myself career wise

QED 4
I don't have full gragh for the year as I never imported over my 6 months worth of ftp hands (~313k I was up $400 from my spread sheet) which may or may not be worthless and there are some 2NL from stars missing off the start (about 8k hands) but here is what I have for stars.it looks better in bbs

fighter 4
2011 results -125 from betting against KJ's grinding power and determination +50 from betting against KJ's judgement and general knowledge of politics. so I lost $75 to KJ this year. He probably didn't even buy a pyjama suit which means this might be the worst result possible. Goals for 2012 More prop bets. SuitjamasProfit.

How dare him, I have got a whole list of novelty items I need financing for. I might never know what it is like to have my own bobble head now. I hope he is really happy with himself. CobaltBlue 662
I learned how to say 'bubble guns' in Spanish last night: 'pistolas de burbujas!'Also, I made ~$90k in ~1200 hours of poker in 2011 for my best year ever on that front.

KingJames 11
There is a holdem manager 2 ? crazyWhat is different?I dunno. Never had HEM1. I just got a PC laptop for pokerz so I upgraded from the co-pilot on my mac. Although I really really really miss how easy everything is on a mac.I got a Compaq something or other. It has heaps of ram and memory and was like 9 months old and the guy sold it to me for $125 (I think it was like $650 new). Seems to be working great so far; if I run good with it and the pokerz... it'll pay for itself soon.
