You're not expecting him to bet more than the pot, are you? That, and I don't like blocker bets.It was a 2/3 pot bet on the river.I thought I could maybe get some value from the 9s I beat, and if he raised, it's an easy fold. FCP is dead, RIP.I don't have many interesting hands per session. I'm a nit remember. Some hands leave me with a bit of doubt, like on the river getting such a nice price. I also have some problems w/bet sizing.

I meant that if you bet more, it's essentially pot-sized. It's pretty thin as a value bet. So, no, I don't think your bet is too small.

I would consider something like 25 or 30 a blocker bet. And I think betting something like 25 here is best. First droolers, especially loose/passive ones either wont pay very much attention to bet sizing or they will see it but just revert back to being loose passive anyways so I think you can get away with making a blocker bet here without feeling like your going to get raised off the best hand a lot. Also against his range I think making a blocker bet is a better plan than making a big bet or c/cing. First c/cing doesn't seem like a good plan because villain doesn't have very many non paired missed draws in his range. There will be a couple combos of JT or overcards that peeled the flop loose and picked up a flush draw on the turn but that's pretty much it so your unlikely to pick off bluffs by c/cing. And what I think makes blocking the river better than making a bigger bet is that I think there will be a decent amount 6x hands that had a draw on the flop or 3x hands that picked up a straight or flush draw on the turn that may call a smaller bet but fold to a bigger one.lineeeeee checkFull Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.comBB ($9.10)UTG ($9.80)MP ($16.07)CO ($10)Button ($9.68)Hero (SB) ($10)Preflop: Hero is SB with Q , J 4 folds, Hero bets $0.30, BB calls $0.20Flop: ($0.60) 8 , 10 , 6 (2 players)Hero bets $0.40, BB calls $0.40Turn: ($1.40) Q (2 players)Hero bets $1, BB calls $1River: ($3.40) 10 (2 players)Hero checks, BB bets $1.75, Hero foldsTotal pot: $3 | Rake: $0.20I liked the way you played it. A lag is going to have a wider than average preflop range here and with not much left behind on the turn compared to the pot size I think you get calls from Ax hands and other pair plus flush draw hands much more than enough to make pushing profitable.
