New Challenge: Movin' On Up

Recommended Posts

You can add another $8 to my graph from yesterday... Had one of my best days, lol, still .01/.02 tables, two tables at a time. The good news is that I made my $15 back that I lost trying to move up in 3 days, so I will wait till I hit $200 bankroll then I will move up that way I dont have to worry about bankroll as much.********KING JAMES********GRATS on your best month ever KingJames! *******NUTZZ somethingelsebutcantrember*************Nutzz how did you end up in the omaha and sunday 1/4 million. You looked like you were in good shape in the 1/4 million when I was watching for a bit. Kosin Trouble

I remember when this thread was all about how bad KJ was at 3betting

He's probably not flatting KJ's raise otf if he had a2. Besides, A2 is such a small portion of his range here, we are never ever ever ever ever ever ever folding the turn. People are stupid, they do

I can get away from this live, but not sure about online...maybe another raise pf, and fold if re-raised?

Nashtak, I play it the sameLike you can get it in preflop, but I like the way you played it. If he has AK, there is no point in raising the flop, we want to keep his bluffing range as wide a possible

I don't shove the flop even though his bet is like half of my stack? We are both pretty much commited at that point, no?

If i 4bet 3 time his 3bet then fold to his 5bet with half my stack in there, i simply deserve to get mauled to death with a jackhammer

But what exactly are we afraid of? He could easily just randomly cbet AK there and then shove turn. And he's not slowing down with JJ/TT or whatever.

I saw no point c/betting because villain was probably tilted so I felt I had little to no FE. About 20 hands prior I had stacked him and he began to raise a bunch of pots. I didn't exactly put him in the folding mood.

Is it me or FTP 2NLers fear 3-bets like if it was the plague?
Could be a small sample size you're looking atWhat is your 3-bet %, what is your fold to 3bet?In my opinion, once micro stakes players put money in the pot they want to see a flop, so I assume their fold to 3bet % is low

I agree with KJ here, once a player puts money in the pot at micros they will call a 3bet just to see the flop, unless its an all in 3bet or some huge 3bet. I know i was very guilty of that, getting better but still find myself going, WTF.. why did i call that reraise...Kosin Trouble

I would bet more on the turn. If he is the sort to call 3 streets with Ax then he is likely to call the turn with a High diamond draw+no pair. River is fine. Fold to any c/r
