This deserves to get seen by a few more people. From our resident Stupidhead...v1.27Feral Cow Poker Hand ConverterHEM/Poker Stars NL Hold'em $1.00/$2.00 - 6 playersButton: $237.98SB: $200.00BB: $60.00

I remember when this thread was all about how bad KJ was at 3betting

He's probably not flatting KJ's raise otf if he had a2. Besides, A2 is such a small portion of his range here, we are never ever ever ever ever ever ever folding the turn. People are stupid, they do

i am missing a few hands from this month.. prolly 3K hands or so..anyway from the results that i have tracked. i have played 16,734 hands with a profit of -$33.76. Rakeback is $55.97 bb/100= -1.01/100total profit- +$22.21goals for February: Play atleast the same amount of hands, focus better, not tilt as much, LEARN more, and crush the donks!gl guys, hoping to turn around the poker part that way im not a rakeback pro, would like to win at poker and have rakeback add to it!

Don't get fancy, just ship it in and make them call you with worse. Also you definitely want to make the turn bigger so the river is an easier shove, like $2.20 or something at least. Your call frequency will probably be similar. That makes the pot $9 and gives whiterabbit only 7.80 behind, much easier ship on the river.

jan : pretty good month, don't know woh to post graph but 14k hands and 6.92 PTBB/100goal for february : stay focussed, don't move to 5NL until i have played 100k hands at 2NL (now a 50, it may not be this month but i'll try). the reason behind that : i took a shot a 5NL at the end of december (about 30k hands, made some bad moves and ran bad...still had a 1PTBB/100 but clearly not enough so i decided to gain more experience).I don't have the bankroll to move, i have about 41.5 BI for the next level but i'm playing on 20+ tables so i have half of my BR on play...the primary goal for this month is to stick to my game plan, take good decisions, don't tilt and play at least 25k hands

First hand if we're gonna raise to get it in against this guy we should be raising to $3.30-$3.50. Given how draw heavy the board is I don't mind getting it in after he limp/calls pre.Second hand we're beat some of the time, but getting better than 2:1 we can't fold.

Care to talk about your flop sizing? Like I know we've talked about 1/2 pot bets in 3-bets pots so did you just go for a little less as a value/inducer/I have the board crushed?

His stack size allows him to shove any turn with that flop bet.

These were the three most interesting hands from last night's session.Only had 4 hands on villain. Is there any other raise other than all in that may have earned me more money? I know most might say bet bigger on turn, but I like to mix up my sizing with value hands and bluffs alike. I prefer a check on the river to induce a bet from a missed draw.

Hand 1: I understand what you're trying to say - but you're applying it incorrectly. You need to size your bets based on board texture, not the strength of your own hand. Every street needs to be bet bigger. 0.40 on the flop, which makes the turn a pot size of $1.27, and now you bet 1.00. He calls, river pot is 3.67, and you have an EZ shove with 3.40 left in your stack. When you flop the nuts, size your bets to get your stack in. BTW, lol at him raise/folding the river like that.Hand 2: I also c/c the river to induce. It's very hard to get three streets of value with TP hands, and the only things you likely get value from on the river are AJ, maybe A9/A8. However, if you check the river, villain might bluff, and he will probably bet his Ax hands you beat anyway, thinking you must have KK.Hand 3: Um, WTF? Don't know what world you're in if you think you have 52% equity vs his range with no pair no draw when he raises you on the flop in a 3bet pot. Bad bad bad shove there.
