I have no clue, but I'm guessing the USA forced us to do this, because they changed their border controls first.

Yeah it is def the US on this one. What I think I read is that you only need a passport card to get into Canada, which was great because it's cheaper and easier to carry. But to get back into the US you need a real passport. It makes no sense. Same situation for our cruise in Sept. One way only requires a passport card but the other way requires and actual passport book.

Perhaps so, it takes roughly 3 months for a person like me to get one. Sometimes less, sometimes more if you get questioned.

I feel jipped, I'm trying to get my passport for studying abroad next school year, all my friends who did it last semester or previously had hellish times getting theirs. Perhaps things have turned for the better though. I'll just sneak in to play at Gruven's game, it'll be fineeeee.
