dscoot 0
granted im an outsider, but....with his 500k h/e stuff going on.....as well as his barry greenstein h/e during the series going on.....and some of the other stuff he's got going......not to mention the fact that now more people will recognize him from tv more than ever before, i am willing to bet some cash that he doesnt end up at two [non-rebuy] nl tourny final tables in the world series

Meatwad 0
Since you specified NL tourneys, I think last year is the only year he reached two final tables in NL WSOP tourneys, if he did reach two, so based on history it's a safe bet.
DanielNegreanu 141
It's bizarre talking about this without coming off as arrogant or boastful, but I'm going to share my opinion anyway. If you count all of the WSOP events I would be willing to bet even money that I make THREE final tables. If I only make two final tables I lose, but if I make three I win. As for my mental state for the WSOP I couldn't be anymore ready. I've cancelled an LA Trip, New Orleans, and most other distractions for the whole time period. - I have my assistant Travis covering for me for the whole month. -My mother to cook for me. -My agent handling all things business. -My fiance handling all of the wedding plans. The only "distractions" I'll have are those distractions I always have. Writing my Card Player articles, Blog, and my Syndicated Newspaper column. Sounds like a lot, but I can handle that no problem. Add to that some heads up matches when I bust out of events early. I've given a lot of thought to the WSOP this year. I want to be MORE prepared than I was last year and I want to do better as well. Last year I was distracted with the WSOP Fantasy Pool, but again this year I have Travis monitoring and I hired someone to calculate the scores. All I'm sayin' is... don't count me out yet.
mk 11
Daniel, get some sleep, man! Wait, I guess it's only 4:45 a.m. in Vegas, right? That's still pretty effing late dude! I've been at work for an hour already in Chicago...Also, only a fool would take Daniel's bet. He'll make 3 final tables this year. A more reasonable bet would be in the range of 5 final tables imo. TruePoker 1
I will take your bet Daniel, I am willing to wager 20 dollars that you do not make exactly 3 final tables.
runningKingz 0
daniel will make 3 or more finals tables. he seems focused on the wsop he has all of his personal and bussiness things taken care of. so i think as long as he plays good, which he always does. my guess is that he will make 4 final tables
krup24 0
Daniel focusing mentally for the events means the field better watch out. He will definitely make 3 final tables. Good Luck.

Huskers20 0
Daniel,Wow, it is truly amazing that you read and Respond to some of these things. I as well as many others truly appreciate what you do here. Also, the fantasy pool and you offering prizes is really over the top. Thank you for all you do.And yes you will make 3 final tables.Huskers20
happyjuggler0 0
If the fields for the non-main event games are as small as last year I would be willing to put money down on DN making at least 2 final tables. With DN himself saying he thought he was even money to make 3 tables (or more) there is no way I would make that bet considering the fields may be HUGE.Going back to a famous comment DN made after busting out last year, all I can say is I hope DN does not try to "bluff the unbluffable" this year. Since I know DN watches tape I suspect he will do better than most pros at adjusting this year.

How am I supposed to get that guy to bet on four final tables now that you've come out and said that number is three?!? Rocketwadster 0
I think someone should definately be a bookie (booky? bookey?) for some of this action. I would definately want a piece of the action, depending on what the line(s) were...
711Buddha 0
I did some stat analysis and I pick DN to make 4 final tables. (Only behind Chris Ferguson with 5.) I think there might be something seriously wrong in my model though. I had Annie Duke making it to one. (And I didn't count the woman's event.)Since I mentioned Annie, let me just add. I would not hit it. Not with a 10' pole, not even if it was yours. Anyway, I'd put DN's over/under at 4 not 3.

LAPoker 0
Any way I can get some of mommas cooking during the main event. I know that if we were at the same table you might need to revoke the privalage, due to the fact that it would give me a bit of an edge that you wouldn't want me to have. shortfuze 0
Hey i'll take your bet of $20 and say that DN makes three or more final tables. i suppose we'll just have to go on the honor system for paying one another but i'm on here everyday and have been for a while so we can arrange something when the time arrives. hope i win but either way i'll be that much more interested in the tourneys with even the smallest of wagers on the line. Later man.-shortfuze
