Shark527 0
if you do decide to do and end up getting arrested will you post pics?Mugshot. Nick Nolte style.I would definitely get some practice using it other places first. Confidence is everything.+1Go to a liquor store , attempt to buy beer, and see how well your card works first.+2I'm not encouraging it, but getting your ID taken away at a liquor store or being turned away from a bar is a MUCH better consequence of getting caught. Also, I've never been to a casino that my ID WASN"T scanned at the entrance. SweetDee 0
It is 100% how you carry yourself. The fact that you are asking tells me you will most likely get picked off. You probably also shake when you have aces, just play online.
MaxStPolish 4
Plus, by presenting a Fake ID you have now increased the number of Laws you are breaking. Playing underage is one thing and would likely just result in getting escorted off of the Property. Possessing AND attempting to use a Fake ID are more serious crimes - increasing the risk of wider bans and actually getting law enforcement involved. And then if you use it to purchase Alcohol and provide the booze to other underage friends - that is even more potential legal trouble. In most States the fake ID is just a misdemeanor, but I think in some states you might be looking at potential Felonies for some of these offenses. This is exactly right. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may be committing a felony offense by possessing a fraudulent government document. This can have severe repercussions as you become an "adult" in ways you cannot fathom right now. Even if its "just" a misdemeanor for you, it's a very foolish decision. Essentially, whether you have this ID to play poker, or to create a fake identity to create an illegal tax shelter account, the fraudulent government document charge is the same thing. Just food for thought.

DCJ001 0
I have just bought a fake ID. It is of very high quality with a nice hologram. I do not know whether or not it scans so let's assume it does not. I act more mature than most. Please follow up and post a trip report with results about the ID and poker, if you make it to the tables. If things don't work out, you can always go back to Yuma where you work in software. mtdesmoines 3
LOL @ thread. I got carded 4 times when I was 40. I rarely got carded when I was 17. Don't try to pass a fake ID, they'll fry you. Just walk in and if you get away with it, you get away with it. If you don't, then you don't. Driving to Turningstone is a really good option. Don't play a bad beat table, you'll hit it and the other players will murder you when your underagedness nullifies it. (which I know has happened locally).

Wow, that's pretty outrageous. When I applied for a temporary work permit for Canada back in 2004, they specifically requested a certificate of good conduct from the police to make sure that I didn't have a bad record. I can understand that kind of scrutiny for a job, but that they go to such lengths for any visit, even a holiday, is pretty ridiculous, imho.

CoolHandKai 0
Do you think the US should check out everybody who enters from a foreign country ?This is not a US specific problem, I think a lot of countries are going too far in the way they "welcome" non-citizens. It's one of these political hot potatoe topics that just makes me sad and angry, so I think I'm done with it, as nothing good can come out of this debate.

rivergirl 2
i get carded all the time when going into the casino (i'm 35...ya that's a brag). the one thing i started doing was getting stamped at the door. That way, anytime someone else wanted my id, i'd show them my stamp (at one time it was a wristband) so that they wouldn't keep harassing me (not that i minded it, but it does get to be a pain in the ass everytime they switch floor staff)
