McGee here, I'm locked out of my account and I don't have the password.  Lebatard have been doing an oral history of the show, and the first 3 episodes are out, and new ones come out every two weeks. Episode 2 was when I started listening, and 2 and 3 have made me really sentimental. Reminded me of this thread, and just a few random folks on a poker forum finding him before he went big. I had forgotten that this thread was so long. Hope everyone is well. Except Suited

Thank you for introducing us to Dan so long ago.  I've always given you full credit in my head.

I wish they'd just do a clean break up instead of.. what ever the hell their are doing, taking shots at each other then stugotz coming in every once in a while to do a show. 

 

On the plus side, I love Zas as an addition to the show, he really is some fresh air the show needed.. And I love that Dave Dameshek is now part of the great LebatardAF universe.  He's the guy I learned about Myron Cope from and the reason I made it a joke account in the first place.

 also handing out so much control of the show/Meadowlark to Samson is ****ing stupid. He is using Meadowlark and is going to spit them out if they crash and burn. I used to love the Samson segments they did like 15 years ago when he worked for the marlins. But him hosting/co-hosting the show when dan's out is a hard pass for me

It really is hit an miss now. I've liked when Zaslow has stepped in tremendously and I assume he's going to be taking a bigger role going forward.

 

Stugotz announced today that he's launching a new daily pod called Stugotz and Company, sponsored by Fanduel, so I doubt we'll ever see them host together again, or at least not for years. That oral history really was the biggest jinx of all time, the show fell apart before it was even finished.

Stugotz and Hochman have started a podcast.  Currently it isn't daily, but im hopeful it will be eventually.  Its great.  Start at the first episode at Thanksgiving.

This Stu & Hoch podcast is my lifeblood right now.  Incredibly fun.  Episode 2 with them talking about Dan being an absolute jerk to the next radio show after them was amazing.

Someone asked Zaslow on his mailbag on the Zaslow 2.0 show if he still had a beef with marc hochman, and he said no he just doesn't care about him, that Hoch is a bad person, that people warned him about Hoch before he started the show and he said he should have listened, so Hoch ****ed zas hard enough to shun him Amish style, so keep that in mind with Hoch's perspective on what went down with Lebatard.
